Always a pleasure to watch your videos !
One little request aside, the sound of your recordings is very low...

Since you have a short wall behind the car, you can build a CGI floor up to the wall and apply a material to it. Done.

Why is my camera map parameters panel different from yours? There is no option at the bottom of you, and the angle can only be set to 180 degrees.

i dont know if vray has something similar but in corona you can pipe the backplate through a tonemapcontrol node and uncheck everything before it goes into the shadowcatcher. that way the shadowcatcher always looks identical to the backplate in the enviroment.

Sadly they do not haha, That was one of the complaints I had about vray after using Corona. Both engines have some amazing features that I wish they shared lol.

@@AutomotiveCGI Maybe one day we will have Vorona or Coronvay.... But indeed Chaos group should make a "fusion" to get both of the best world...

@@AutomotiveCGI Hey Sergey. VRay does have that feature, and a shadow catcher. It's the two checkboxes above where you changed the alpha value in VRay properties.

@@johnwilyman5490 Ah yes I know about that, but it doesn't quite work as well as Corona Shadow Catcher. Also, when you do those two checkboxes, what happens then is lets say you add a fake light to the environment and you want it to affect the ground, it no longer will show up in the render. Leaving the floor visible the way I did in my tutorial allows me to add fake lighting effects to the ground. In Corona they did it much better lol.
