People with commitment issues struggle to have long long term serious relationships but Scott clearly doesn't. Hell, he was more affectionate than Kourtney was and that was a major problem in their relationship. If you watched their show then you know that he wanted to marry Kourtney but she didn't want to get married. She even admitted this herself that she didn't want marriage because of what happened to her parents. If anything Kourtney was the one with commitment issues not Scott! Scott had his fun but he's settled down with Sofia for the last 2 years. How many young guys has Kourntey been linked to? At least learn the meaning of your diagnosis before you label the guy.

My bf stopped smoking, behaved wayyyy better with me than when he was with his previous, showed a lot more affection and tolerance, and not to forget, endless determination. But we play the part as well, like being mature, understanding, supportive, and always be positive, eventually our partner will reflect that as well! We’ve been dating for 2 years now and things are still going strong as ever if not better 🥰

So for example, if you've have insecurities, the right person can make you accept and learn to love those shortcomings. It's nice if you can be awesome and great all by yourself but some if not most people, want and need positive influences in their lives. For Scott, it's clear that when Kourtney left him, he was on a downward spiral, partying and drinking with a parade of women every night. All that stopped when he got with her. Maybe he didn't feel like he needed to do that anymore, maybe she made him feel content. Who knows? but he is sober now and just seems to be a better man.
People keep on forgetting that Kourtney never gave him a relationship that had a emotional aspect. Even their physical relationship was only because she wanted kids. After that Scott never slept in the same room as her , she always just wanted the kids. Emotionally she wasn’t there for him as well. He was like just a stud for her. I am not saying that justifies his behaviour in the past but is it that big of a surprise Scott acted out when he lack all those things in a relationship.
I think you forget that she was emotionally there for him in the beginning of their relationship but he continuously cheated on her which made it hard for her to let her walls down with him again

I swear it sounded like every time Kourtney allowed Scott to be in the same bed, it would because she wanted to have a baby. Most of the time she didn’t even tell him she was planning to have a baby.

It always seemed like she just never wanted to sleep with him even without sex, like not even to cuddle so no intimacy what so ever, which obviously caused a huge disconnect between them. I think a lot of women do that, they ignore their husbands or partners for their children. First time I watched Sofia when she was 15 on Nicole’s reality show. The whole Richie family was funny and fun to watch. I think their parents really influenced how they brought up. I remember how Nicole and Sofia able to open up to her dad (Lionel) like buddies. She got pretty chill family so I’m not surprise she’s in stable relationship

People forget that Kourtney was just as sweet in the beginning of their relationship. Yes, I don't think they were compatible in the end but after years of going through shit, people tend to get bitter and "negative". Obviously Kourtney wasn't as light as Sofia because Scott was partying and cheating throughout the first half of their relationship. Like go back to the early seasons! Kourtney put up with so much crap and even while they were having Mason. Scott only stopped drinking and partying recently so HE is a different person. He has matured a lot. It's a lot easier to be kind and loving when someone isn't constantly cheating on you and drinking all the time. Kourtney is not an evil bitch. They just had a bad relationship and they've both in a better place

Sofia is a really calm, put together and very mature person. Especially considering how young she really is. Claps for her. I can see now how and why she managed to tone Scott down.
