Correct. 2 laps, must be on foil from 1st to 2nd buoy. Then restart completely for second lap. You can also run back from the second buoy. Sand bars and wave availability were equalizers as well. Was fun to watch live. Great video Gage. @@skatehills

It would have been cool if one knew how to beach start. Could have halved the total time.

No commentation? Looks like you have to start two waves but one is just laying down and stand up again on the same wave! Isn't that cheating?
