Anyone else love the field level camera work that they feature at times? Really cool, especially when the Packers were on offense on their own goal line after the INT in the first quarter. Also, Johnny Mrris sounds especially energetic and insightful, andWalter Payton in his prime-explosiveness-are awesome.
The Packers - Bears ALWAYS have a great game! Walter Payton is to me, one of the BEST RUNNING BACK TO EVER PLAY IN THE NFL! "Sweetness" had moves that could boggle the minds of all-pro defensive players, and teams! I am, have been, and always will be a Packers fan. However I have the utmost respect for the Bears. And especially Walter Payton. He was incredibly talented! Again the BEST OF ALL-TIME! He was so fun to watch run! Except against us! He destroyed us whenever we played him!
Other than Payton, not sure if anyone else on this Bears roster made it to the 85 Superbowl team? Just checked the 77 roster, looks like Fencik, Baschnagel, and possibly Hartenstine? I don’t recall if Hartenstine was on the 85 roster? if so, probably injured.
Ditka cleaned house when he took over in 82. Hartenstine was indeed on the 85 roster & played a lot. Lost his job to the Fridge which he didn’t deserve

Fridge wasn’t a total wasted pick but close. they could have had Fridge and all the hype for a 5th round pick and taken an actual contributor with that first round pick. the DL with Fridge as a backup tackle for short yardage and goal line would have been better, and maybe motivated Fridge to work hard to crack the starting line up.

I like the camera work in these old games better than modern football. Modern cameras look like madden game.
