Bowlero (Green Brook NJ), 4K arcade walkthrough & tour, March 2024

I've had this one "in the can" for a while but have been sitting on it, but seeing as how it's now almost three months old, I figured I better get it out there sooner rather than later. As you probably know by now, Bowlero is a national bowling chain that specializes in buying up older bowling alleys, remodeling them to make them look vaguely "upscale", adding/upgrading food service and bars, and then jacking up the prices by a significant amount. I'll usually check them out regardless because most of them feature a decently-sized game room. This particular Bowlero was the first one I ever visited a few years ago, and not much has changed for the arcade stuff since that point. You've got your redemption games, your shooters, your racers, and multiplayer Pac-Man. Nothing too out of the ordinary here. Speaking of those prices being jacked up, just a friendly reminder that one credit at Bowlero is equivalent to 50¢ as opposed to a quarter almost everywhere else you go. Needless to say, I'll avoid playing games here out of principle, and when I'm in this general area, I'd much rather go to 8 On The Break instead.

This was AMF Strike N Spare Lanes before Bowlero/Bowlmor. The Bowlmor renovations gave the 60s architecture a boost with that neat, arrow-based paint job. With that rounded part it works really well.
