I am 69 years old and am patiently waiting for my hair to turn grey. My mother is 103 and her hair did not turn grey till she was in her 80s. Good grief ... and it's not recommended to dye my hair white because at this age, it might fall out and/or break. Hmmmmm... oh well. I'm rambling and I apologize for that. I’m 62 and have really only worn extremely minimal makeup my entire life. I’m finally feeling like I really need to wear makeup but I only want it to look really natural. My dermatologist has helped get my rosacea under control so I’m going to try. Thanks for all the basic videos.

I too am a fairly recent convert to Bobbi Brown and have that same gorgeous lipstick 💄 Love love love your channel, and photos too... over the last year have left my own grey grow through and still salt and pepper not yet your gorgeous colour but feeling good about owning who I am at this time of my life! Great job! I have used BB for many years and think her cosmetics are the best, but now in retirement I have had to switch to some drugstore brands to save money ( but not for foundation) I have always loved Maybelline mascara. Grey eyebrow pencils are very hard to find and anyother color else looks obvious on me. I have been using Clinique podwer in a gray color for years and dread that they will stop making it!

I am 70 but always looked 10 years younger. That aside I have watched all the women on TH-cam with their Marcel Marceau makeup on older woman. It's hideous not realistic for everyday wear. So your channel is wonderful. I put my makeup on the way you do. I also have hooded eyes and you have helped me with that.😊

To show off blue eyes, I feel warm tan colors are more effective. It's like when you have a tan face, you see that your eyes "pop" more. Sometimes I will use an earthy color, and use a blue liner underneath. The most important thing is that you are happy though, so if that means blue eye shadow, I say go for it!

I saw the lovely makeup you did on your mother , so I know that you are younger than me (72), but I would like to learn to use makeup which is flattering and natural looking .Fair skin color with some pale freckles , and eyes of all three colors , more blue , then green , with a little patch of brown. OK. You have really beautiful skin, and lovely features. A lot of women would love to look as good as you do without makeup. I have friends that tell me I have beautiful skin. My Esthetician has known me for over 30 years and recently waxed my brows and upper lip. She looked at me and said, "Not a wrinkle in you face." Not so! Gravity does show some wrinkling around the eyes. (Crows feet) My biggest complaint is the crepe paper. Applying shadow is a nightmare. I don't wear very much makeup during the summer. So your 15 minutes quick fix is perfect for me. I think I love your videos the most. One lady does a beautiful job except she is too shiny. WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT CREAM EYESHADOWS FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE A LOT OF CREPE PAPER. Paula61

I love cream products and don't have any problem doing my makeup until it comes time to do my lashes and brows. Hypothyroidism stole both! As I've aged (I just turned 72) my brows and lashes lost a lot of their color (both used to be very dark brown and are now a very, very light brown). The problem is that my lashes used to be thick and long and now they're straight and number in the single digits. My brows are now not only very pale but also number in the single digits. I've reached the point where I'm considering dermablading on my brows but there's not much I can do with the lashes. Ah well. Thank you for your wonderful videos!!
I became a Subscriber today from this video. I have watched you before, but your HairStyle, New, made me want to watch you on a regular basis! I LOVE your hair now!!! This style is what I would Love to have myself, but my hair is much too thin to wear it short due to thinning spots. So Must keep it long to wear UP, to cover those thinning spots, they are That bad! So, at 61, I feel like an old old woman having to wear an up-do all the time, and it is NOT my most flattering look. I need hair around my face. But enough about me... I fell in LOVE with the first product you put on! I have been dying to know what makes some women's faces Glow and others, not! But this serum+ color are superb. Have been on BB website picking out a shade just now. Have saved it since I am already waiting on a new foundation, Laura Mercier. If it doesn't do what it promises, or does not match, I will return to Sephora and purchase this product! I don't believe in throwing away wrong products, but I always return products that don't work for me, as they are too expensive!!! And, it seems, that it takes a lot of products to keep myself Up!!! So it's quite an expensive Hobby, skincare and makeup, isn't it? I now enjoy watching you, also, for hooded eyes. In the past year, I have No lids left. I was Blessed by the "NO" Gods. I don't have much of anything... Boobs, top lip, balding spots, thin hair, lackluster eyes, the straightest thinnest lashes, eyebrows, etc. So I must find a way to cover up all these things I'm missing! And now, I am Disabled from horrific Back pain, and bad bad heat problem. So, I basically am at home with just little odds and ends to do. Going into any store, I become so hot, and back aches so terribly, I just pick up what I need and get to my car as fast as possible. Thank goodness for A/C and Online Shopping! But terrible for choosing colors, Clothing, etc. Thank you for showing me that as white as my hair is, I can still add some warmth to my very cool tones. And that I must tone down my eyeshadows. But this is hard to do, for me. I'm SO wanting to compensate for missing eyelids. And since I can barely move without pain/excessive heat, I have gained weight which fills out my face terribly! So I DO use a contouring, light, but use it correctly, and grateful women are using this product! And must heat my eye curler from my hair blow dryer to curl my lashes to stay long enough for going out. And I MUST use waterproof Mascara to not wet my lashes and take the curl out!!!! I feel with hooded eyes, at least ppl can see the eyelashes! But it's too, too obvious to wear false eyelashes, even the slightest of ones, for me. Plus, I've never been able to wear them comfortably! All this from just one video! Sorry so long. Thank you for your hard work!!! Will be watching and commenting!!!
Kerry, i’ve asked a couple of questions of you and I hope this time you’ll answer. I have tried using the lightest shade available for brows and I still unnatural. Any advice? And then I have very long narrow lips. I try to follow my natural lip line with pencil, but it doesn’t help. What can I do to give the allusion of plumper more rounded lips? Thank you. I love that I've found videos on how to apply makeup, now that I'm over 65. I haven't worn makeup in years, because I'm never happy with the look. My problem is not only the lines and wrinkles under my eyes (along with dark circles that never seem to go away no matter what I try or how much sleep I get), but I have very large deep set eyes. When I was young, they were always a focal point but now that I'm older it seems the deep set of my eyes just makes it harder to NOT get makeup in the lines and wrinkles, which makes them look even MORE lined and wrinkled! Any suggestions?

Really struggling with my 67 year old face looking dry with my foundation. Also don’t like how it accents my pores on my chin and under eye wrinkles. Maybe it’s time for a change. Just might give these products a try. You are so easy to listen to!!💕
It looks as if I'm going to be searching for your videos. I've never worn much makeup because I've never really known how to apply it. Since I'm 73, I can see that I'll want to avoid powder. I also have lost the tails to my eyebrows because of a sluggish thyroid. And yes, I have hooded eyes. I don't know about the products you use; I can't afford any better than drug store brands.
I have a hard time keeping cream blush to stay on my face. Even though I’m 57, I have oily skin. I feel like it’s a curse, everything slides off within a couple of hrs. 😂
Can I ask your opinion in: Ilia foundation serum, would you use moisturizer with it for mature skin? Also Ilia limitless lash lengthening mascara, the soft focus finishing powder and the priming serum. I’m looking at buying these and would like a professional opinion on it. Thank you

I especially liked the hair tutorial about leaving curly hair wet and twirling it into place. As to this video, I have a few Bobbi Brown products myself and love them. I am 70 but always looked 10 years younger. That aside I have watched all the women on TH-cam with their Marcel Marceau makeup on older woman. It's hideous not realistic for everyday wear. So your channel is wonderful. I put my makeup on the way you do. I also have hooded eyes and you have helped me with that.😊

I kept waiting for you to use some color on the lids! I too have deep blue eyes and like blue shadows are there no times to wear a little blue? Connie K
To show off blue eyes, I feel warm tan colors are more effective. It's like when you have a tan face, you see that your eyes "pop" more. Sometimes I will use an earthy color, and use a blue liner underneath. The most important thing is that you are happy though, so if that means blue eye shadow, I say go for it!

Many of us out here have mature skin, and hair that has changed colors from brown to gray and silver . I saw the lovely makeup you did on your mother , so I know that you are younger than me (72), but I would like to learn to use makeup which is flattering and natural looking .Fair skin color with some pale freckles , and eyes of all three colors , more blue , then green , with a little patch of brown. Brown brows.

OK. You have really beautiful skin, and lovely features. A lot of women would love to look as good as you do without makeup. I have friends that tell me I have beautiful skin. My Esthetician has known me for over 30 years and recently waxed my brows and upper lip. She looked at me and said, "Not a wrinkle in you face." Not so! Gravity does show some wrinkling around the eyes. (Crows feet) My biggest complaint is the crepe paper. Applying shadow is a nightmare. I don't wear very much makeup during the summer. So your 15 minutes quick fix is perfect for me. I think I love your videos the most. One lady does a beautiful job except she is too shiny. WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT CREAM EYESHADOWS

Your are so diplomatic and perhaps kind. I know blue isn’t a popular or trendy color, but it’s like I’m driven to it! Haha. But I do truly enjoy different shades of blue, not all but I dare say most. Thank you for emailing me back. And thank you for the tutorials. I’m learning a lot! But most of all it’s expensive! I must decide which things to get and which ones I just can’t buy. I love cream products and don't have any problem doing my makeup until it comes time to do my lashes and brows. Hypothyroidism stole both! As I've aged (I just turned 72) my brows and lashes lost a lot of their color (both used to be very dark brown and are now a very, very light brown). The problem is that my lashes used to be thick and long and now they're straight and number in the single digits. My brows are now not only very pale but also number in the single digits. I've reached the point where I'm considering dermablading on my brows but there's not much I can do with the lashes. Ah well.

I became a Subscriber today from this video. I have watched you before, but your HairStyle, New, made me want to watch you on a regular basis! I LOVE your hair now!!! This style is what I would Love to have myself, but my hair is much too thin to wear it short due to thinning spots. So Must keep it long to wear UP, to cover those thinning spots, they are That bad! So, at 61, I feel like an old old woman having to wear an up-do all the time, and it is NOT my most flattering look. I need hair around my face. But enough about me...
I fell in LOVE with the first product you put on! I have been dying to know what makes some women's faces Glow and others, not! But this serum+ color are superb. Have been on BB website picking out a shade just now. Have saved it since I am already waiting on a new foundation, Laura Mercier. If it doesn't do what it promises, or does not match, I will return to Sephora and purchase this product! I don't believe in throwing away wrong products, but I always return products that don't work for me, as they are too expensive!!! And, it seems, that it takes a lot of products to keep myself Up!!! So it's quite an expensive Hobby, skincare and makeup, isn't it?
I now enjoy watching you, also, for hooded eyes. In the past year, I have No lids left. I was Blessed by the "NO" Gods. I don't have much of anything... Boobs, top lip, balding spots, thin hair, lackluster eyes, the straightest thinnest lashes, eyebrows, etc. So I must find a way to cover up all these things I'm missing! And now, I am Disabled from horrific Back pain, and bad bad heat problem. So, I basically am at home with just little odds and ends to do. Going into any store, I become so hot, and back aches so terribly, I just pick up what I need and get to my car as fast as possible. Thank goodness for A/C and Online Shopping! But terrible for choosing colors, Clothing, etc. Thank you for showing me that as white as my hair is, I can still add some warmth to my very cool tones. And that I must tone down my eyeshadows. But this is hard to do, for me. I'm SO wanting to compensate for missing eyelids. And since I can barely move without pain/excessive heat, I have gained weight which fills out my face terribly! So I DO use a contouring, light, but use it correctly, and grateful women are using this product! And must heat my eye curler from my hair blow dryer to curl my lashes to stay long enough for going out. And I MUST use waterproof Mascara to not wet my lashes and take the curl out!!!! I feel with hooded eyes, at least ppl can see the eyelashes! But it's too, too obvious to wear false eyelashes, even the slightest of ones, for me. Plus, I've never been able to wear them comfortably!

Kerry, i’ve asked a couple of questions of you and I hope this time you’ll answer. I have tried using the lightest shade available for brows and I still unnatural. Any advice? And then I have very long narrow lips. I try to follow my natural lip line with pencil, but it doesn’t help. What can I do to give the allusion of plumper more rounded lips? Thank you. I love that I've found videos on how to apply makeup, now that I'm over 65. I haven't worn makeup in years, because I'm never happy with the look. My problem is not only the lines and wrinkles under my eyes (along with dark circles that never seem to go away no matter what I try or how much sleep I get), but I have very large deep set eyes. When I was young, they were always a focal point but now that I'm older it seems the deep set of my eyes just makes it harder to NOT get makeup in the lines and wrinkles, which makes them look even MORE lined and wrinkled! Any suggestions?

Really struggling with my 67 year old face looking dry with my foundation. Also don’t like how it accents my pores on my chin and under eye wrinkles. Maybe it’s time for a change. Just might give these products a try. You are so easy to listen to!!💕

It looks as if I'm going to be searching for your videos. I've never worn much makeup because I've never really known how to apply it. Since I'm 73, I can see that I'll want to avoid powder. I also have lost the tails to my eyebrows because of a sluggish thyroid. And yes, I have hooded eyes. I don't know about the products you use; I can't afford any better than drug store brands.
I have a hard time keeping cream blush to stay on my face. Even though I’m 57, I have oily skin. I feel like it’s a curse, everything slides off within a couple of hrs. 😂
Can I ask your opinion in: Ilia foundation serum, would you use moisturizer with it for mature skin? Also Ilia limitless lash lengthening mascara, the soft focus finishing powder and the priming serum. I’m looking at buying these and would like a professional opinion on it. Thank you
