I honestly think Daniel is the key to ssg succeeding. If Dan is always this confident a loud he’ll probably develop into one of if not the best player in the world. As a teammate just seeing your most talented player be that loud and confident has to feel good which will make you more confident as well. Unfortunate we won’t get to see the full potential of this team but Ik retals will succeed anywhere and I’m sure ssg will succeed next year too
This is the way I'd prefer to watch rlcs it feels more natural to watch as a long time player because you can analyze it more when you aren't always watching where the ball is and being able to see the field and comms make it feel more natural too
I was half and half about the situation until I saw this, after a series like this how do you drop retals? they are rarely making mistakes in rotation, challenges and overall decision making. series are not always like this but this team is so solid and could win worlds on their day

Watching this made me realize what Arsenal meant by clashing styles. It's hard to hear everything they say but you can hear it during the first game: Retals has to tell Arsenal to calm down because he's playing too aggressive. Not necessarily a bad thing per se, but it forced Retals to be passive and I understand where that could cause issues. I just hope that aggressiveness doesn't force the same upon Daniel before he gets a true foothold in the competitive scene because he has so much potential. Much love to all of you❤

I honestly think one of the most important parts of the first game - SSG are really scrambling to defend on low boost Daniel makes a mistake but they manage to get out but you see Daniel chasing in arsenals position, Retals just says “calm down” you see Dan rotate out and start comming really calm and collective, they build an attack and eventually score. With Retals gone they lose that first game I swear. Wtf are Arsenal and Dan actually thinking. Their only hope is if Dan grows up very quickly in the off season and takes a captain role.
