- Another video from my endwalker reaction series. This is my first playthrough of lvl 90 quest You're not alone. I was so in love with shadowbringers, but this expansion just blew my mind. I love this love letter to Final Fantasy IX and a love letter to everyone who as been there on your journey. This part of the game absolutely broke me. It was beautiful and gorgeous!

• Aymeric: Upon the souls of they who have sacrificed themselves to pave the way for peace, we will never abandon our cause.
• Nanamo: While it is true that man succumbs all too often to anger and avarice, he may yet overcome his baser instincts through the forming of bonds with others.
• Raubahn: Such victories are rarely won without sacrifice. But the prize is worth the price.
•Kan-E-Senna: And we for our part are glad indeed to be able to welcome friends both old and new...
• Hien: Save your tears for the morrow. You may be sure we will have ample cause to shed them, be they for joy or despair.
• Papalymo: From tragedy and sacrifice we rise to greet a new dawn.
• Edmont: A future shaped by the choices we made, in ways we could never have foreseen.
• Beq Lugg: Yet miracles do happen. So let us pray, and will our friends home.
• Ryne: I won't stop praying until I know they're safe.
• Midgardsormr: Strong art thou, mortal.
• Minfilia: Look to the light within, that you may continue to serve as a beacon to others.
• Ardbert: Let's finish this.

It's not a debuff, the little pointed end is pointing up. Despite the burden weighing heavy, you ARE still walking... it's a buff.
An excellent little detail. Nicely spotted.
It forces you to walk slower, same as the heavy debuffs do, so its still a debuff regardless.

@@Kozmokast A debuff is a debuff dude, don't try to argue, its pointless to even try, it is hard-coded as a debuff, they just disguised it as a buff for story purposes.

It was so good 😭
1,000 1,000 life times... That's at least... 1,000,000 years. That is the MINIMUM time that the Ascians have been working towards their goals... Then we come in a TRUCKED their entire agenda.
Alisaie's reaction to Graha and then Alphinaud's plans are what really made these sections hurt. We have the thought at the very least that we will be able to summon our friends back; but the pain that Alisaie feels is genuine and it HURTS.
At the point G'raha made his choice I was like, "this can't happen, we need this group for the next trust dungeon" and then the rest of all this happened :-O
The way Alisaie looks down is the deepest dagger in my heart. She realizes the truth of it all and the feelings for Emet are so tough.

When I got to the twins’ sacrifice I thought to myself “typically I would ask my sisters consent before volunteering her for death”

Feelings hit every time I see this scene. Be it my first playthrough or the many times I've seen other go through. XIV cannot be topped.
Tbh it has basically ruined most other games for me because I want now this high of quality from games xD

I've watched people cry playing Feelswalker. I've never watched somebody cry _this_ much. It is amazing how much this game's story and characters move people.
I am still crying. It never ended hah
"I thought it would be really cheesy, and say: Remember us". I think alot of us did. But to be fair. After everything, this is the only time Emet was finally at peace and content. I'm pretty sure with their creation magic, both him and Hyth could've stayed if they wanted to. But as their custom, when their work is finished they return to the star willingly. And so they did. Their "New old friend" picking up their work and honoring their memory was enough for them to feel at peace after all these years of suffering.
God they outdid themselves with Emet-Selch as a written character. Never have i liked a villain as much as this.
Emet was not a Villain... He was the Protagonist of his own story.
He was such a good character ❤️

The trip through Ultima Thule is just really damn cathartic.
Frfr. Especially the first part with the first race. Omfg. Their feelings were how I felt at the time and this whole area helped me work through some of them
The best part is 27:00 or so... Especially when Meteon breaks down, finally understanding the depth of her loss.
