The National Anthem of New Wave. It came to a point when we would stand at attention, put our hand on our left breast in the middle of the dance floor whenever this great deathless song was played in Manila during the happy 80s.
Dad introduced me to this song, he always play 80s song in our house and sings this song and tell me stories about bands from the 80s. Since then this was one of my favorite song.
These guys are tight as hell . Plus his voice still sounds like it did 40 years ago . Imo this song defines the 80s . And of course the movie this song was used in definitely captured the 80s. Shit I was 13 years old in 83. Time flies kids , my parents were right ! Enjoy your life as it goes faster than you know . I remember the 80s like it was yesterday . This song is so damn good my 20 year old daughter knows it and loves it . Another perfect 80s song is by Split Enz , I got you . If you like this song you’ll like I got you .

This is the only 90s band,where they have released a new album that's equally as great as their originally recorded songs 35+years ago.

I turned 21 in 1980. What a fun time and what great music. I loved this song then and I love it now.
