HTC 10 and iPhone 6s have the best cameras and videos very natural looking with lots of details, despite HTC 10 being a pre-released phone I'm sure once it's released with some software update it will be the best camera in all departments
Just got my HTC 10, superb audio output and a great camera(not the best considering focusing performance), well suits my need. And the metal construction is simply sick!
this review is stupid, this guy doesn't know anything about photography, even the first pics he only see which one has brighter pic, he doesn't know about overexposure and the balance overall image -_-
agreed. if you want decent camera review look at pocketnow's review. Juan Carlos Bagnell is just simply awesome when it comes to reviewing smartphone cameras
02:23 Perhaps there's a connection between the vividness of the image and the fact that the sun is clearly shining. Note the well-defined shadows on the wall close to the water. Those photos with the shadow are also the brightest.
bought the Samsung S7 Edge. But according to this video HTC 10 camera blows other cameras out of the water. The S7 Edge annoys me with the heavy noise reduction and even worse sharpening halos! The HTC 10 looks just right, especially the detail in the low light shot is amazing!
You forgot to Turn on video stabilisation on in the P9's camera. In several images you favoured them simply because they were very saturated, bashing the more natural, colour accurate shots for appearing dull in a few cases. Please stop assuming images are better just because they are brighter, in a few cases highlights were clipped on photos you claimed were better. Also no mention of colour balance where phones either handled it well or struggled. Don't want to sound like i'm having a go, just my thoughts.
LG G5 and S7 are the top two of course. I prefer the LG G5 just because in normal light it has almost double the amount of detail. I mean, why use 4:3? All of my screen (phone, tv, pc , tablet) are 16:9! If you shoot in 16:9 on the S7 or S7 Edge, you only get 9.1MP as opposed to 16MP on the G5. The wide angle lens is a killer too! I do think the S7 Edge is an overall better phone but if looking only at the camera, it's G5 all the way.
I'd argue that auto mode isn't an accurate representation of how good phones are. Sure, not everyone has the know how or time to change the exposure to the kind of shot they want but image processing software is half the point of a camera test. You'd be better doing one "auto" image and one "advanced" image for true representation
Well done review. Not technically an exact science for comparisons, but for the average user, good. As for the ultra criticisms in this post, this is a mobile phone camera review; not a high end DSLR camera review by a top photographer.
you should have the same angle, height and length when taking pictures. on your close up shot and the low light shot you have different angles when snapping at a subject making it more difficult to conclude which phone is better
Great comparison again but I personally think the HTC 10 comes second after the S7. Then the G5 and only then the iPhone. If I'm not mistaken he is using a standard 6s and it does not even have OIS. Sure for a good photographer like you with steady hands you may get a good shot, but for average consumers the other 3 would be the better bet everytime. The 6s plus though might be a different story. But there is no denying the optics on the iPhone are very outdated compared to the rest. Even in the first picture the S7 had a way more pleasant looking shot compared to the 6s. There might have been a bit fanboyism creeping in for the iPhone but great video nonetheless. Just think the 10 deserves credit where its due. Looking foward to the battery test. Keep up the good work guys.
I'm so proud of the camera HTC has put out this time around. I prefer the pics it takes over the rest. The one that stood out to me was the plush toy picture. It's not the brightest but it has more detail especially around the face of the toy.
that is why there are the manual controls so you, the photographer, can adjust your image. these reviews should be specified. comparing cameras based on auto mode.
I think the selife video part when testing LG G5 the cam was not cleaned up before testing or a thin film was there. my LG G5 cam is a lot more clear than what you did on test.
I especially like the quality of the sound that the S7 records in video mode, I really like that it captures in stereo too. Very rich and well balanced. The iPhone 5/5S captured really great audio but Apple did something with the 6 and 6S and now it sounds muffled and boomy.
the first test was a bit off. you could see from the cloud cover that the light was coming in and out so we can't really judge the cameras from that. I do agree with the conclusion though but I think you were a bit too kinda to the HTC 10. the lowlight photos were rather disappointing for a 12mp 1/2.3 inch sensor with ois.
Dull is actually preferable. That means more data is stored, highlights aren't overblown, shadows aren't drowned. Look at footage captured with, say, an ARRI Alexa (6 digit price tag). It's as dull as it can get. The image looks almost black and white, there is no black, there is no white. It's all some shade of grey. It is also the camera of choice for pretty much all of Hollywood.
+Ata Rahimi Dxomark score is paid review comparing site, they test one sided alone thats why this site is not trustfull, but if you happy about that that they mislead the real testing its good for you.
great review, the only thing I personally don't agree is the low light test results. htc had the best details and a very nice looking colour result. samsung was also very good, but my eyes saw this way. amazing review, thanks. the only wish is to make more photos for each test. i mean more different scenes
how can oversaturate and unrealistic sharpening can be consider as natural image?. the close up shots, does the shots apply with each device close up mm range limit?
The first test was really skewed due to the fact the lighting was changing so drastically. Come on Tech radar I shouldn't have to be telling you guys this.
Dokamoto your eyes can't see in low light either so the iphone is doing what its suppose to and the other phones over process the images which aren't even real in low lighting
Question for Z5, did you use 8MP or 23MP? if auto mode, the default settings is 8MP. But nevertheless, I tried with 6S, S7 and Z5P. S7 still gives the best image quality, and iPhone is the last for me :/
find it interesting on the front facing camera test you made sure to Bob your head around a good amount on every phone to test that image stabilization or lack there of except on the s7 where it was clear u kept your hard far more still to make a better looking vid. hard to believe ur not another Sammy guy after that observation.
This such a bad comparison, you keep saying "natural image" even though you keep classifying over saturated as natural. If anyone wants actual well informed camera reviews, go look at Juan's videos on Pocketnow.
+Zac Kirstein Juan is THE BEST!!!! S7: images are so contrasty with unnatural colours. Nope for me. 6S: well Apple always loved warm photos. HTC 10: it does provide pretty natural photos but isn't the best in lowlight. G5: narutal colours and a bit better than the HTC 10. IMO, the G5 is most better option for pro photographers.
+SlighceTUNES natural photo always makes a better scene and only in HTC 10 and iPhone 6s/Plus has the ability to capture a natural picture. but Samsung Galaxy S7/Edge LG G5 and other phones it's roughly get the natural scene. in other way like focusing and low light conditions Samsung Galaxy S7/Edge is a best camera i have ever seen in a smartphone. LG G5's camera is good enough to get the high quality pictures in the light conditions but not the best in the market. but only the G5's has the wide angle lens which is the best feature in the market right now! in my opinion i love to get the Samsung Galaxy S7/Edge if i am photographer though i am a hater of Samsung Smartphones. I like HTC that's why i prefer HTC more than any other smartphones in the market.
+Mohammad Abrar Hossain Ador lg g5 doesn't struggle to get natural colors especially with manual mode. only auto does that and when you buy the g5 are you really buying it for the auto mode.
ddid you get paid to talk bad things about sony ?? i have xeria z5 and s7edge andd note5 and iphone6s and i dont think any device can beat sony xperia and did you know all of devices use sony camera ?
Liel Bouskila i don't think so, in almost all comparison shots I've seen p9 vs s7, p9 loses a ton of minute detail and just tends to blur the detail out of the image produced.
The Apple seems to have the best dynamic range but muddy contrast. The Samsung has the best sharpness and color balance but underexposes shadows in daylight shots in a major way, also the video seems a bit shaky. The LG seems to have a blurry picture overall, there's a lot of light bleed and deeply saturated parts seem to lose a lot of detail. The P9 seems to have a poor-performing camera compared to the rest but it' selfie video cam blows the rest of them away. The HTC and Sony cams seem to be generally underwhelming.
The thing is The 6S has a natural picture but the s7 makes things light. Eg the darkness test the 6s was identical to what it looked like in real life. And the s7 just forced to be bright. This is my opinion I don't own a 6s or s7 so I'm not being biost like if this helped u or was true. Don't be salty if u have a s7 so don't go commenting saying this comment was unhelpful. Don't like it if u don't think it was useful
I agree I have a lgg5 and iPhone 6 and they preform very well with the most realistic colors. Samsung over saturated the color which can sometimes be good but a lot of people want realistic colors. In low light however Samsung wins
first of all, good job second, u must first standardize the light of shot, it was obvious that some shots with Sun and others with clouds third, u must standardize also the software options of shooting like stabilization, lighting feature, contrast as many of us know that Samsung plays in the quality by giving u unnatural image with wrong colours saturation and wrong contrast as an example fourth, images and videos preferences is very subjective, someone loves colours to be very saturated, others like details, others like contrast and lighting, one likes very high quality videos even though he will not use this quality finally, the best from my perspective are iPhone then Huawei then Samsung then LG then HTC then Sony it is a subjective test u know of course
Olney "negative" on this video test on cameras was... the phones did never have the same "angle" on shot, that makes huge differens on every phone, different angle gives different light etc.
+Sinisa Ruzicic HTC 10 is better sound on headphones and speakers, better build quality, better software with faster OS updates, higher capacity sd storage, Lol
***** Slow? Lol even the HTC One M8 can handle with the S7 in terms of smoothness. So You think glass it's much durable than aluminum? Nice logic dude... #fanboydetected
***** Glass + curve doesn't make the phone easier to hold. It makes slippery in the hand and also it's fingerprint magnet. Durability isn't everything? So you will put a case right? It will lose those premium feeling material. And you are comparing a phone that exists since January against a phone that just has two weeks. HTC 10 with a software update can improve more in terms of camera and smoothness. You can search yourself in TH-cam where the HTC One M8 (with a polished os) equals the fastest smartphone of 2015,the galaxy S6. S7 maybe has the power, but the HTC has the optimization.
***** So you are admitting that on default (without turning off the animation and without downloading Nova) is not smoothery and faster? You are funny dude lol
+Dyno Nur i have the 6p now and before that i have the iphone 6s plus and before that i have 6 plus and before that i have samsung s6 but the 2 best phones i own are the m8 and the 2 iphones i mentioned ... but i miss htc and i will buy the htc 10 not because it has the best camera ... if you buy a phone based on his camera your going to miss other factores like audio experience and UI and software updates and screen ... i know htc 10 is not the best phone ever made but it has all the right ingredients for me ... while its not the best ,its well balanced phone that can take take good photos and videos and that sounds the best and that screen is the best lcd screen on a phone and the build quality is the best I've seen ...end of story
for the selfie test, S7 doesn't perform well on the detail of the person's hair. take a look carefully and it won't be hard to find out. also, during the low light shot, the fuzzy texture on the dull is clearly shown by HTC 10 only despite the deficient light. by contrast, S7 only elevate the lighting but shows low details on the doll's texture, which is kinda sad.
You should ask for help from some photographers (there are many on youtube) to do camera reviews. The video is interesting but end up very inaccurate and slightly misleading.
+James Peckham That's alright then. Nice of you to reply :)

If an object are in the dark a good shot shall be dark, if it over exposure the image will get poor. I would see same dark shot with all cameras ast to EV -1 or lower.
Why are you focusing on "bright/vibrant"? That's the most amateur and irrelevant thing to look at. You look at how natural the image is: how much detail it captures (natural sharpness vs. the fake sort of outline glow, ringing, around edges), and how much contrast it captures without actually clipping any of the whites, blacks, and/or colors. Then of course there's just camera of the lens in terms of any kind of distortion it introduces like due to light or simply maintaining accurate proportions. The one thing you can't call the S7 for example almost ever is "natural".
I dont agree with this test. Not fair. You have to test cameras with max/best settings. If you change settings on Xperia z5 for example, you can get much more better photos and videos. Here you can get just informations which auto mode is better.
Whoa I haven't seen shots on the Sony look as bad as the way u guys showed here on most other tests. One thing I can say is people should test these things for themselves before making a choice. So many reviews I have seen show the exact opposite from what I have seen here. I have tested the S7 edge vis-a-vis with the Z5 premium and I can say I prefer the overall package of the Sony but the Samsung is more ergonomic so is more comfortable to hold in hand and has better low light performance. other than these two the Sony is the better oversell package.
06:54 well no doubt who wins audio quality test ;P But on a serious note full Auto modes are not all equally tuned & are not going to show you what each camera is really capable of.
6s and 6s plus released in 2015 so that doesn't mean those are bad in camera. they back dated phone if you are camparing with 2016's Flagship phone. but behold everyone, iPhone 7 and 7 PRO is coming!
+Mohammad Abrar Hossain Ador but the thing is they have more iterations of the phone and they came out in September and according to the flagship refresh rate, the 6s is the s7 equivalent. Especially since the 6s is the second iteration of the 6. and in too of that they had MULTIPLE fours 4 and 4s and MULTIPLE fives 5 5c 5s
+Lee Cason yeah, i know that. but iPhone 6s/Plus is able to get the more natural photo than the S6/Edge and LG G4. though i am not a huge fan of Apple. i am HTC fan but in 2015 HTC sucks! :( but now HTC 10 is the best smartphone right now in the market. in a few days it will be in my hand. then i can spend my time with the HTC 10 and feel what they provides!
not acurate comparison, i have the s7 edge and the z5p and the quality on the z5 has more detail and realistic colours than my s7e the only thing that is the s7 is winning is the lowlight shots but not by lot. and you should use the default MP count on Z5 if you use in auto mode for over sampling. good day.
Is this a camera test?? Just non sense. Everywhere this guy is going to make apple iPhone win which isn't worthy of winning. Your videos are absolutely iPhone biased reviews. Everyone knows that xperia z5 has the best quality video due to its better stabilization which can beat every phone in the market and of course better details with accurate colour reproduction when captured in manual 23 mp camera and not the auto 8 mp camera.
I think the competition here is only between the S7 and P9. The P9 has amazing features when you take it off auto-mode, but it's gotta be a fair test so that's not shown here. I know people with both, and the person with the P9 admits that the S7 has a much better low-light camera, but the P9 is better in all other aspects. The P9 is the closest you'll get to a DSLR in a phone
G-Metric but what if we don't want to blur everything around the subject to hell all the time. if that's what you want decent bokeh than p9 or mate9 will be the way to go
S7 is the best one. And i still like iphone 6s camera as its very natural, not overly processed, light balance and exposure is great, and the video is excellent. Problem is the low light condition and speaker on the phone isn't good. Meanwhile S7 takes a great low light picture, sometimes it can be too overwhelming and feels fake. Still, in all areas considered, S7 is better than all the other phones, and second is Iphone6s.
If you want to take more natural color pictures. You should get iPhone 6s , plus. Because if you compare with iPhone & another phone iPhone give you same like as you see.
Sony has the sharpest camera at 23 megapixels but sharpness doesn't matter as much as color and stabilization which I think the Samsung and lg g5 tied with. Apple did pretty good in video. Sony over exposes the color making it way to bright but is very sharp
The Huawei P9 is WAY overhyped with its Leica features. Also, I think the HTC 10 camera would be so much more capable if HTC fit a sharper lens on it. S7 is obviously the best but HTC 10 and G5 and 6S are not far behind.
on the second test, he complains that the P9 is too bright, and then the GS7 image is brighter but he says it's perfect... WTF???
dwbi ;)
P9 is clearly over exposed, thats what he probably ment
and the whites look pink aswell
when you realized all of the camera is sony
Whistle Gamer lel
But.. P9 is Leica..
ricky danny expose Leica certified, causd the sensor its Sony.
HTC 10 and iPhone 6s have the best cameras and videos very natural looking with lots of details, despite HTC 10 being a pre-released phone I'm sure once it's released with some software update it will be the best camera in all departments
agreed

😍
nope s7

Which software version is the HTC 10 running? Amazing how many reviews leave this important information out
You guys make the best comparisons great quality , lots of details and mostly YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE WHOSE NOT OVERATING APPLE !
1) S7
2) G5
3) 6s
(The 6s Plus has a better camera than the 6s especially low light because of OIS)
ois add nothing to still image
Yes it does if a tripod is not being used.
+Chester Foster i mean the result of the image other than helping with focus it does nothing to image result
I love theses ultimate battles.. keep up excellent work 👍 📷
HTC sent another software update as of May 4. It really improved the camera in all departments
And what about the lumia 950? I think you should have been tried the 950 as well.
Did you change the resolution to 23 megapixels in the settings for the Sony?

oh 9.1mp beats 20.7 mp z5
Don Zak I just said that
+Pewdiepie Sucks do you agree that s7 have the best camera ?
I'd argue that auto mode isn't an accurate representation of how good phones are. Sure, not everyone has the know how or time to change the exposure to the kind of shot they want but image processing software is half the point of a camera test. You'd be better doing one "auto" image and one "advanced" image for true representation
What happens to the image when you cover one of the dual camera setup on the Huawei P9? I thought one of them is a color camera

You just open your mouth and judge the world while your sitting on a chair with your PJs.
no mention for the HTC 10's front camera having OIS?
A good test that you could add is the zoom feature during recording....for stability and stutter....just a thought!
great review, the only thing I personally don't agree is the low light test results. htc had the best details and a very nice looking colour result. samsung was also very good, but my eyes saw this way. amazing review, thanks. the only wish is to make more photos for each test. i mean more different scenes

you can do a incredible bokey effect with p9
Please learn to use phones camera ui and take photos
did you had video stabilisation enabled on the S7? it looks very shaky, i have the S7 and it is very close to the 6S Plus as far as stabilisation goes
+Marius Filip if you use 1080p it uses DIS too. In 4k it doesn't

thinking the same. The HTC really shines here, even better than the iPhone or S7...
Good jobs Samsung! Nice Video ^^ Thanks for giving me the best comparison about those cameras
The first test was really skewed due to the fact the lighting was changing so drastically. Come on Tech radar I shouldn't have to be telling you guys this.
HTC 10 and LG G5 are the best, neutral white balance, good colors and details. The S7 brings more light, but that's it, and yellow tint everytime.
Look at the sky in all the photos and come back and tell me which one is blue
SlighceTUNES Overprocessing, no the S7 is not the best, it has the fastest camera for sure, but has not the best quality image.
Exactly thats why the iPhone is better because it takes the most natural photos
SlighceTUNES Yes, but IPhone kinda sucks in low light, but IPhone 7 might be a beast in every parts.
Dokamoto your eyes can't see in low light either so the iphone is doing what its suppose to and the other phones over process the images which aren't even real in low lighting
it would have been nice to have a reference camera for color accuracy and white balance. but most conclusions are agreeable
Was the test done before or after the update of the htc 10??
The macro image for the s7 is a bit yellow.
its very yellow
+Jason Booth the image is so soft that it dosent seems that it is a soft toy
lg htc n iphone did a great job for it i think
Question for Z5, did you use 8MP or 23MP? if auto mode, the default settings is 8MP. But nevertheless, I tried with 6S, S7 and Z5P. S7 still gives the best image quality, and iPhone is the last for me :/

These guys ignored the HTC 10 multiple times. Even when coming to conclusions about the cameras.
The conclusion didn't seem to relate to what was said during the video. I thought the HTC looked much better and natural compared to the others.
i don't get it. He only compare about how bright the picture and how vibrant the color?
ddid you get paid to talk bad things about sony ??
i have xeria z5 and s7edge andd note5 and iphone6s and i dont think any device can beat sony xperia

the p9 is usually darker to make out more details and dynamic range. The photo is dark on purpose, and I personaly like it.
Liel Bouskila i don't think so, in almost all comparison shots I've seen p9 vs s7, p9 loses a ton of minute detail and just tends to blur the detail out of the image produced.
did you record on 4k with the xperia z5?
I would not favor one camera just because it is a little bit brighter, you can adjust that very easily
Was this pre or post htc 10 camera software update?
which mobile won the comparison test in your earlier speed test?
Apple iPhone 😎
I personally think the HTC 10 was kind of overlooked a bit. It had the best overall picture quality

In low light however Samsung wins
first of all, good job
second, u must first standardize the light of shot, it was obvious that some shots with Sun and others with clouds
third, u must standardize also the software options of shooting like stabilization, lighting feature, contrast as many of us know that Samsung plays in the quality by giving u unnatural image with wrong colours saturation and wrong contrast as an example
fourth, images and videos preferences is very subjective, someone loves colours to be very saturated, others like details, others like contrast and lighting, one likes very high quality videos even though he will not use this quality
finally, the best from my perspective are iPhone then Huawei then Samsung then LG then HTC then Sony
it is a subjective test u know of course
Olney "negative" on this video test on cameras was... the phones did never have the same "angle" on shot, that makes huge differens on every phone, different angle gives different light etc.
P9 with Leica camera and lazer scanner for focus has so f*cking awesome resolution
HTC 10 and S7 are the king of smartphones nowadays, but I will pick the HTC 10 as a better overall phone for me
+Sinisa Ruzicic HTC 10 is better sound on headphones and speakers, better build quality, better software with faster OS updates, higher capacity sd storage,
Lol
+Sinisa Ruzicic I won't buy a case for cover the built quality of the phone that has costed more than 700$. that show me you're low awareness
***** So you are admitting that on default (without turning off the animation and without downloading Nova) is not smoothery and faster? You are funny dude lol
HTC 10 have the potential to be the best of them all after some software updates, till then the best is Nexus 6p, Samsung galaxy S(6) and LG G5 & G4
selfie camera video of Huawei P9 is good :)
really good comparison of 6 mobiles bt if u add some more photos it is nice...
lgor sumsung s7 which do I buy ?
htc 10 and s7 edge are the best but i will get the htc 10
+jad hzim I think HTC 10 is not really good enough.
+Dyno Nur i dont really care what you think ... htc will fix all the camera issue with more software update
+jad hzim But the 6s actually had better photo's quality.
+jad hzim Its mostly not depending on their software. So no matter they had developed the latest software, its can't to change it all. 😏
+Dyno Nur i have the 6p now and before that i have the iphone 6s plus and before that i have 6 plus and before that i have samsung s6 but the 2 best phones i own are the m8 and the 2 iphones i mentioned ... but i miss htc and i will buy the htc 10 not because it has the best camera ... if you buy a phone based on his camera your going to miss other factores like audio experience and UI and software updates and screen ... i know htc 10 is not the best phone ever made but it has all the right ingredients for me ... while its not the best ,its well balanced phone that can take take good photos and videos and that sounds the best and that screen is the best lcd screen on a phone and the build quality is the best I've seen ...end of story
sony vs sony vs sony vs sony vs sony vs sony vs
hahahaha
Sensors. I doubt the s7 whether it's samsung's or sony's?
sony
sony vs your mom
lg use theyr own sensor so nope.
for the selfie test, S7 doesn't perform well on the detail of the person's hair. take a look carefully and it won't be hard to find out. also, during the low light shot, the fuzzy texture on the dull is clearly shown by HTC 10 only despite the deficient light. by contrast, S7 only elevate the lighting but shows low details on the doll's texture, which is kinda sad.
You should ask for help from some photographers (there are many on youtube) to do camera reviews. The video is interesting but end up very inaccurate and slightly misleading.
+Omar Reid I don't have a problem with his opinions.
+James Peckham That's alright then. Nice of you to reply :)
If an object are in the dark a good shot shall be dark, if it over exposure the image will get poor. I would see same dark shot with all cameras ast to EV -1 or lower.
Taking photos like that, the camera would not be using the widest aperture, so stop taking the widest aperture number into regard of the details.
I think the z5 snaps results and video was better then others
Why are you focusing on "bright/vibrant"? That's the most amateur and irrelevant thing to look at. You look at how natural the image is: how much detail it captures (natural sharpness vs. the fake sort of outline glow, ringing, around edges), and how much contrast it captures without actually clipping any of the whites, blacks, and/or colors. Then of course there's just camera of the lens in terms of any kind of distortion it introduces like due to light or simply maintaining accurate proportions.
The one thing you can't call the S7 for example almost ever is "natural".
My favourite were HTC 10 and iPhone 6s, but in low light S7 and G5 do a better job.
I dont agree with this test. Not fair. You have to test cameras with max/best settings. If you change settings on Xperia z5 for example, you can get much more better photos and videos. Here you can get just informations which auto mode is better.
don't know about others but htm10 stock camera app is a big annoyance. it bumps up screen brightness to 100% no matter you're outdoor or indoor.
06:54 well no doubt who wins audio quality test ;P But on a serious note full Auto modes are not all equally tuned & are not going to show you what each camera is really capable of.
is the 6s even considered good anymore with the small aperture and lack of manual features
6s and 6s plus released in 2015 so that doesn't mean those are bad in camera. they back dated phone if you are camparing with 2016's Flagship phone. but behold everyone, iPhone 7 and 7 PRO is coming!
i mean to say, *those are back dated phone.....
+Mohammad Abrar Hossain Ador plus g4 and s6 had better cameras then the 6 and 6s and the plus variants and they came out BEFORE the 6s.
Thank you for this video I'm from Iraq Best wishes

Z5 vs G5 which is the best for camera
not acurate comparison, i have the s7 edge and the z5p and the quality on the z5 has more detail and realistic colours than my s7e the only thing that is the s7 is winning is the lowlight shots but not by lot. and you should use the default MP count on Z5 if you use in auto mode for over sampling. good day.
The close ups aren't even all from the same angle. How is that fair?
Is this a camera test?? Just non sense. Everywhere this guy is going to make apple iPhone win which isn't worthy of winning. Your videos are absolutely iPhone biased reviews. Everyone knows that xperia z5 has the best quality video due to its better stabilization which can beat every phone in the market and of course better details with accurate colour reproduction when captured in manual 23 mp camera and not the auto 8 mp camera.
iPhone 6s and 7 have 12 mpx camera with 4K video. Megapixels don't matter as much as color which Samsung and lgg5 won in
Pranay Sharma did you know ?? that samsung colors are artificial
Of course samsung colours are artificial, to make the pictures look more vibrant, samsung can't provide natural colouration.
pls. advice the origin country of HTC, I know it's assembled in China, iPhone too and it's origin is from USA.
+Ahmed Bawazir HTC is from Taiwan (China basically)
I think the competition here is only between the S7 and P9. The P9 has amazing features when you take it off auto-mode, but it's gotta be a fair test so that's not shown here. I know people with both, and the person with the P9 admits that the S7 has a much better low-light camera, but the P9 is better in all other aspects. The P9 is the closest you'll get to a DSLR in a phone
No it's between s7 and G5. Maybe iphone
No, The p9 Is able to do some amazing DOF, which none of the other phones can
G-Metric but what if we don't want to blur everything around the subject to hell all the time. if that's what you want decent bokeh than p9 or mate9 will be the way to go
KinnArchimedes You can change it from f16 to f0.9 so you don't have to blur everything
I have both phones and I can say that the gs7 is better than the p9 somewhat
S7 is the best one. And i still like iphone 6s camera as its very natural, not overly processed, light balance and exposure is great, and the video is excellent. Problem is the low light condition and speaker on the phone isn't good. Meanwhile S7 takes a great low light picture, sometimes it can be too overwhelming and feels fake. Still, in all areas considered, S7 is better than all the other phones, and second is Iphone6s.
i Think S7 is the best .. But HTC 10 is on Par with the S7 ... Really Impressed by the results of HTC 10
I use an iPhone 6s and am a big Apple fan, but Galaxy S7 is the best smartphone camera you can get right now. Period!
If you want to take more natural color pictures. You should get iPhone 6s , plus. Because if you compare with iPhone & another phone iPhone give you same like as you see.
what about the nexus 6p?
which is better ??? huawei p9 or iphone 6s
This guy has been paid to say bad things about Sony cameras which have been and still are the best.
true
Sony has the sharpest camera at 23 megapixels but sharpness doesn't matter as much as color and stabilization which I think the Samsung and lg g5 tied with. Apple did pretty good in video. Sony over exposes the color making it way to bright but is very sharp
samsung devices makes the artificial colors according to the situation
what did you know about image stabalization
dumbass
kartik swroop Theres a mode called "Raw"
The Huawei P9 is WAY overhyped with its Leica features. Also, I think the HTC 10 camera would be so much more capable if HTC fit a sharper lens on it. S7 is obviously the best but HTC 10 and G5 and 6S are not far behind.
