Don't worry Mr. Fruit. I know what it's like to have crappy rando teammates. Here's a scenario that I was in more than once during Iron Banner: I go to take a point (we'll say B for example) and when I get there the ENTIRE enemy team is waiting and destroys me instantly. I look to see if my teammates can at least avenge me, but they're not around. I was totally alone in a 1v4 situation. The WORST part is that the enemy had zones A and C at the same time. If none of my teammates were trying to take B with me, and they weren't taking A or C unopposed either, where are they and what are they doing?!
"Happy as a clam" because when you look at a clam from the front where the two shells, the top and bottom, meet it looks like a smile due to the curvature of the clam shell.
Guess you could say it'd have to be a pretty DIRE situation to need to use a hand cannon I've used primarily hand canons since D1, still my favourite, you guys are sensitive
It's not meant for 1v1. It's a flanking weapon. Stack resilience and mobility and HCs work pretty well. Fire > Dodge/Jump/Take cover > Fire > Dodge/Jump/Take cover > Fire
For me, I feel like this time around Hand Cannons are in a bad spot right now for the Crucible, since Auto Rifles and Scout Rifles are absolutely dominating it (especially since Auto Rifles do way more damage than they used to in the first game)
Auto rifles are doing about the same damage they always did, actually. Bout 11-17 damage per head for the high fire rates, and 20-25ish for the mid fire rates. Depending on perks, this may vary... but they're about the same as in the first game.
I think hand cannons are ok as they are, it's just that getting hit by HCR punishes them alot more than an auto. Missing one shot with a hand cannon messes you up more than missing a shot with an auto.
the problem is the only hand cannons that 3 shot headshot are the slow firing ones, in D1 even the fastest firing handcannons could 3 shot, they need to change it back
So sad they're in such a rough place hand cannons are my favourite weapon type and I hate not being able to use them. I think bungo should just give them a 1.5 times damage boost across the board.
light switch on second thoughts that is pretty big maybe it should come with a fire rate reduction and maybe a range boost to cement it's role. I'm a filthy casual so I wouldn't know fair numbers for the nerfs and buffs
The strength and role of handcanons in D2 is for giving a single big "chunk" in team fights. hit somebody for a hot 60-72 depending on impact and let your team do the rest.
The saying came from, " Happy as a clam in high tide." Because early days of gathering clams, in low tide they were everywhere and easily gathered like berries on a bush. Opposed to high tide where clams were nowhere to be found.
Fruit I know what you were going for it should be a vex raid exotic it has an exotic perk called *through time* and what it does it it teleports to the point or enemy at which you were aiming at almost instantaneously. It'd be useful for quick rocket shots and it's magazine draws rounds through time so it reloads itself as soon as a shot is fired. In PVP it'd be invisible to where it explodes at the point of impact doing regular rocket damage and in pve quick rocket shots for good dps.
The saying "happy as a clam" comes from the saying "happy as a clam at high tide" and for those of you who do not know, high tide is when the ocean rises shielding clams and other tide pool creatures from predators.
With your idea about that invisible rocket launcher. How bout dis... Exotic Rocket Launcher: Wonder Space Intrinsic Perk: Divided by 0 - This weapon has no travel time and leaves a void grenade on impact. (Insert Rocket Launcher Perks Here) Exotic Perk: Center of the Universe - After firing this weapon you become invisible, get insane agility, and insane resiliance but can not damage enemies until this 10 second buff is over Appearance: It would be a gauntlet with a gauntlet that has a shard of Darkness in its hand but the glove itself is themed after The Nine but looks ancient. Like for Fruit to see this, also the name and gun could be fruit themed if it must... just being realistic and i know the exotic perk sound op but no damage is very balancing
Mr. Fruit: "We need, usually, not high caliber rounds, we need a close enough engagement that submachine guns won't melt us, but close enough that we can actually hit stuff. And then on top of that for their team to not pay attention to whoever I am shooting so that it is a 1v1." Me: Skill might help too.
Fruit Launcher: Exotic Perk: "Time Displaced Rockets" Every rocket fired enters a time warp while travelling through the launcher, exiting fractionally before the point of impact. Targets hit by TDR have residual time distortion effects placed upon them, reducing their attack and movement speed. Bungo I'm ready for my cheque kappa.
Your idea for the rocket laucher has a perfect example... longbow grenades from borderlands. You trow the nade and it will teleport to the point you aim
Happy as a clam. It comes from 'Happy as a clam in high water.' The clams were happy when there was high water because the seagulls would not eat them. Now you know
I'm glad you gave it a second chance. I was running the same loadout as you yesterday and doing really well. Main difference is I was using a scout for my energy weapon.
Mr Fruit's Exotic idea, refined: Works like the main gun of a fallen walker, you have to scope in first and it displays the laser target beam, then you fire and it's basically a hitscan where the explosion spawns at the end of the laser beam.
anyone told him that while the lucky pants is absolutely beautiful the perks actually proc when equipping the gun for 3 secs? Or have i've been out of the loop in realizing it's been buffed?
They should make an exotic launcher that locks on to enemies (it would take a really long time of course) and when you shoot at a locked on target, the rocket goes through any objects/enemies blocking its path to that locked on enemy.
Maybe the exotic rocket launcher would make the rocket warp? So it would be shot. Then point warp to where you were aiming making it significantly faster and like what fruit wanted invisible
The phrase most likely started as the longer phrase “happy as a clam at high tide,” and was popularized in the early 19th century, particularly in the northeastern United States. Clams can only be readily dug up by humans when the tide is low; in high water, they're almost impossible to find.
MR FRUIT I got a challenge for you Go into Destiny 2 quickplay only using sweet business and another energy auto rifle along with actium war rig on the titan but you can never reload.
the problem with hand cannons is that you need to find the perfect sweet spot of range, and land headshots every single time, it's hard to get right at first, but when you get everything right, you're able to steamroll people like it's nothing
I know you didn’t mention it this video, but have you considered the crouching while you’re shooting people is due to class abilities? As a hunter when I think I have a dodge I’ll double tap “b” (on Xbox), and crouch.
I work best with handcannons (and scouts combo) in D2. I have a hard time using autos and sidearms. The handcannon of choice for me is of course better devils, but dire promise sees almost as much use as it due to its fun and crispy factor.
i kinda feel that the old fashioned is just a better version of this. plus kill clip let's it head+2body, and it can 1head+3body targets under 6 armor as a baseline. it's extremely good
This gun is a BEAST. High damage (60 on headshot), very easy to aim and very reliable on mid to close range, with decent damage even at long distances (I use a scout on the energy to kill more easily at long range, but it's on preference). It's my main gun, I always take it in PvP
That's a cool idea for a rocket launcher actually ( the further the target the more damage you do on impact.) Or like o impact it lives area of effect like the dragons breath but this time it's cooler cause it disappears
There are two or three hand Cannon that can kill in 2 shots in two headshots one's blue and the other two are legendary and I believe one drops from Iron Banner
Mr. Fruit be honest. Are you sincerely excited for the PC version of Destiny 2, given how things have slowed down, and how the grind isn't there as much anymore?
“Happy as a clam” comes from the look of a clam, the split makes it look like a giant smile.
Don't worry Mr. Fruit. I know what it's like to have crappy rando teammates.

rettwoods its a joke. I think you knew that though so I'll go.
You just gave me cancer
*roll credits*
Drew Drawers no.
Woop Woop ☂️
I think for Halloween Mr. Fruit should be Captain Falcon!!! That impression in the video was on point!!!
Never stop saying ‘Hidie Ho’
JustFX__ My friend and I would just say that all the time for a while.
For me, I feel like this time around Hand Cannons are in a bad spot right now for the Crucible, since Auto Rifles and Scout Rifles are absolutely dominating it (especially since Auto Rifles do way more damage than they used to in the first game)
Fireboy I know exactly where your profile picture is from.
Zachary Moreira where
Auto rifles are doing about the same damage they always did, actually. Bout 11-17 damage per head for the high fire rates, and 20-25ish for the mid fire rates. Depending on perks, this may vary... but they're about the same as in the first game.

But if they got buffed then everyone would use them and I wouldn't feel special for using them anyway anymore. Priorities! :3
1.5 is waaaaaay too much, i think the damage is fine, the range needs a buff imo
light switch on second thoughts that is pretty big maybe it should come with a fire rate reduction and maybe a range boost to cement it's role. I'm a filthy casual so I wouldn't know fair numbers for the nerfs and buffs
11 minutes into the nuzlocke, looked at my notifications and saw fruit liked this comment like whaaaaaat???
Well no because that would make slower firing hand cannons awful compared to fast firing hand cannons
The strength and role of handcanons in D2 is for giving a single big "chunk" in team fights. hit somebody for a hot 60-72 depending on impact and let your team do the rest.
emwZEEK They're are pretty good in 1v1s aswell, but HCR really ruins them, when you can hit your shots you can do really well.
“He wasn’t shooting, and he was holding something and I was like what is that it’s massive”
-Mr Fruit
13:50 had me in hysterics. Good 'ol Bob, back at it again
Did you get that IB armor for your Titan?
Juan Snow _ I got no armor, cuz lord Saladin hates me, 2 pulse rifles, 1 smg and a fusion rifle
BlueFairyGaming he wasn’t asking you
Juan Snow _ I only got the Titan mark, legs, and arms
Nuh :'(
Mr. Fruit Gaming Channel RIP
I might just be retarded, but the Dire Promise is actually my favourite PvP gun in the game.
I use this or the Midnight coup, with the annual skate as a secondary, it's awesome
I just love those SATA TATA TATA moments you guys know what I'm saying
Oh yeah. That's funny stuff.
I enjoy the dire promise as well. Glad that you have found it to be good as well.
Craig Higgins Jr. And the better devils is AMAZING
I honestly don't like that one.
I like the this and Midnight Coup too
The saying came from, " Happy as a clam in high tide." Because early days of gathering clams, in low tide they were everywhere and easily gathered like berries on a bush. Opposed to high tide where clams were nowhere to be found.
The phrase "happy as a clam" comes from the idea that a clam's closed shell looks like a wide smile. Hope this educated anyone that was curious!
The Nameless Midnight scout has explosive rounds and I swear it's like getting hit by flashbangs whenever you're shot.
I really like the variety in D2 crucible. One time I got killed by a solar Uriel's Gift and another time, a void Uriel's Gift.
The wild fruit back at it again 🔫🔫
OMG I LAUGHED SO HARD
"Get ready for the outplay"
*misses one shot
*immediately killed by golden gun

I'm loving the way the dead orbit weapons are looking. so old fashioned.
With your idea about that invisible rocket launcher. How bout dis...
Exotic Rocket Launcher: Wonder Space
Intrinsic Perk: Divided by 0 - This weapon has no travel time and leaves a void grenade on impact.
(Insert Rocket Launcher Perks Here)
Exotic Perk: Center of the Universe - After firing this weapon you become invisible, get insane agility, and insane resiliance but can not damage enemies until this 10 second buff is over
Appearance: It would be a gauntlet with a gauntlet that has a shard of Darkness in its hand but the glove itself is themed after The Nine but looks ancient.

Thought you were gonna talk about Rhabby's incorrect loss and then literal deletion of his hunter at the start.
Your idea for the rocket laucher has a perfect example... longbow grenades from borderlands. You trow the nade and it will teleport to the point you aim

Will you ever do another episode of Chatting with Variks? pleaseee :D it was the best video ever.
anyone told him that while the lucky pants is absolutely beautiful the perks actually proc when equipping the gun for 3 secs? Or have i've been out of the loop in realizing it's been buffed?
KIRBY CAMPER using Dragon chest piece give it for 9 secs after rolls
They should make an exotic launcher that locks on to enemies (it would take a really long time of course) and when you shoot at a locked on target, the rocket goes through any objects/enemies blocking its path to that locked on enemy.
I would like to see a Dirty Harry type HC, it's pretty much like this one but the barrel is a mile longer and hits harder.
the full saying is "as happy as a clam at high tide". when they are safe from predators...
They should add a perk to some hand cannons called like steely grip or something that reduces flinch from incoming attacks
Maybe the exotic rocket launcher would make the rocket warp? So it would be shot. Then point warp to where you were aiming making it significantly faster and like what fruit wanted invisible
That exact set up except put annual skate as your secondary. Lucky pants and double hand canons much fun
The phrase most likely started as the longer phrase “happy as a clam at high tide,” and was popularized in the early 19th century, particularly in the northeastern United States. Clams can only be readily dug up by humans when the tide is low; in high water, they're almost impossible to find.
Fruit you Ned to review the halfdan-d it is the low key meta of auto rifles
MR FRUIT I got a challenge for you
Go into Destiny 2 quickplay only using sweet business and another energy auto rifle along with actium war rig on the titan but you can never reload.
What if there was a launcher that caused an explosion where you were pointing rather than waiting for the travel time of a rocket?
I would love to see fruit’s facial expression when he goes “ZAADAAIT”
Is that....is that background music I hear? Lmao I checked like 5 times to see if music was playing in another tab.
I had one drop after collecting the Cayde stashes last week. So there's a chance to get it outside of the faction rally.
3:49 "...and what sort of a thing is he holding because it's massive... Ohhhh"
- That's what she said
Mr.Fruit, have you tried the Old Fashioned? Its the same Arch type as the Dire Promise but its got a better perk set imo
the problem with hand cannons is that you need to find the perfect sweet spot of range, and land headshots every single time, it's hard to get right at first, but when you get everything right, you're able to steamroll people like it's nothing
I know you didn’t mention it this video, but have you considered the crouching while you’re shooting people is due to class abilities? As a hunter when I think I have a dodge I’ll double tap “b” (on Xbox), and crouch.
Which is better old fashioned or dire promise
I laughed so hard when the titan came back with the fist of havoc i lost it hahahaha
My favorite hand cannon is the Annual Skate, it is really solid
I kinda wish they kept a similar aesthetic to the classic D1 hand cannons. Can't seem to find one that I like the look of other than Sunshot.
I got this from a Cayde chest today. Didnt think that was possible for faction weapons.
Titan is so much fun in crucible...i was using the sweet business and self reloading chest and just nailing people left and right
There's a grenade in Borderlands 2 that teleport to where you throw it! Is that the kimd of launcher you're talking about Mr.Fruit?
Sooo the lucky pants only work if you switch to the handcannon. So always having it out doesn't really get the benefits ya know.
Hey, Fruit! You should try Judgement, the Trials of the Nine hand cannon! I’ve been using it for a long time, and I really like it!
I work best with handcannons (and scouts combo) in D2. I have a hard time using autos and sidearms. The handcannon of choice for me is of course better devils, but dire promise sees almost as much use as it due to its fun and crispy factor.
how will Bungie adjust HC rounds i wonder. either reduce the suppressing effect or remove the perk entirely. hope it's the latter lol
This is the crispiest thing on the market right now. So good
Leveled up my Titan finally and got 2 packages in iron banner before it went away...2 Titan gauntlets
This gun is a staple of my daily loadout. Love it.
i kinda feel that the old fashioned is just a better version of this. plus kill clip let's it head+2body, and it can 1head+3body targets under 6 armor as a baseline. it's extremely good
What is the name of that chest piece I need to know t looks way better than the one I have now
Thankfully on my titan I got every piece of IB armor except the arms, but I use the synthoceps.
turned in about 30 dead orbit packages. got about 20 pulse rifles.
no hand cannons.
How is Rhab doing after the last dream team?
Where did you get that chest piece?
This is the best PvP hand cannon in the game. Dire Promise is incredible period. I was lucky enough to get it from the gunsmith.
Not a destiny player but are precision shots basically headshots?
Finally got an Antelope. My god...glorious.
Fruit do you think you’ll stream today?
This gun is a BEAST. High damage (60 on headshot), very easy to aim and very reliable on mid to close range, with decent damage even at long distances (I use a scout on the energy to kill more easily at long range, but it's on preference). It's my main gun, I always take it in PvP
I got the last hope like 30 minutes after i watched your vid, It's amazing!
Question: let's say I already joined New Monarchy (I don't have D1, or D2, or even a console, I know, sad). Like D1, can I then join another faction?
Have you tried the mida? Its pretty good xD
That's a cool idea for a rocket launcher actually ( the further the target the more damage you do on impact.) Or like o impact it lives area of effect like the dragons breath but this time it's cooler cause it disappears
Your rocket launcher idea has rockets that teleport to their point of impact I do believe
There are two or three hand Cannon that can kill in 2 shots in two headshots one's blue and the other two are legendary and I believe one drops from Iron Banner
This hand cannon is one of my FAVORITE weapons in the game
Were you get it ?
I want to get your opinion on D2 fruit, like over all how are you feelin it
Mr. Fruit be honest. Are you sincerely excited for the PC version of Destiny 2, given how things have slowed down, and how the grind isn't there as much anymore?
Fruita, dafudge is that planet that you are orbiting in the start of the video?
Fruit can you do a review on the midnight coup? I have it if u need an acc to play it on.
Hey fruit review the IB hand cannon its basically a sniper
The fruit launcher could gain damage the farther it travels. This rewards fantastic aim
Put him in the brig until he's sober, put him in the brig until he's sober, put him in the brig until he's sober! Earlie in the morning!!
It’s become one of my favourite weapons to use in the last few days. It feels better than better devils imo
I GOT THIS GUN WAY IN THE FIRST WEEK AND I WARNED U, I WARNED U!
Jesse Gomez this gun wasn’t out in the first week.
you could get faction guns from caydes chests =]
Jesse Gomez forgot about that
I did to, took me through my first raid run :)
I like this gun in PVE, but for PVP, gotta have that Old Fashioned. Kill Clip is so good
What is that chest piece
Mr fruit- HOW ARE YOU NOT DEAD
TH-cam- did he say dead😮DEMONITIZED
the rocket launcher could be where it just teleports where ever you shoot it
Drunken sailor by the Irish rovers is AMAZING
No shaders fruit man?
When Mr fruit threw a trip mine I said to myself wait titans have tripmines ....
