Since there is a wide variety of hairspray, there may be different times for everyone and of course how thick a layer is applied is also very important, but the passing of wetness is the sign of drying. it can be checked with your finger without pressing too hard and then you can start the colouring process. Hey guys, when you spray HS I always mention in the books and videos etc. how it is applied with the aerosol and then use a hair dryer to speed up the process. HS (or a chipping fluid) should be dry to the touch before painting on top. Once the paint is applied and dry (usually a few minutes - or by the time airbrush is cleaned) chip away... speed to chip is no real issue for most paints. And usually you get a few weeks activation for long term or slower processes if you want to chip over a few days time. Keep up the awesome work NightOwl!

Looks great. I have seen al lot of chipping video’s but nobody tells you how long should the hairspray and paint dry. Please let me know. Thx
