First !!!! 🤘🤘 Awesome reaction ! about The Poet and Pendulum, It is the first song of the album Dark Passion Play and it is about the current situation of the band in 2005 when Tarja Turunen, the first singer of Nightwish was fired up by Tuomas. After leaving Tarja, he received a lot of hates and negative feedback from public and got depression ! the sad thing about the story is that Tarja and Tuomas were friends since the school time, so the decision was not absolutely easy for Tuomas. You can check also on Nightwish Wiki two open letter from them which everyone explain his/her reasons. The Poet and Pendulum is a very emotional song and made of 5 sections, each with different themes and styles being applied, In this song, Tuomas (the songwriter) came to suicide ! and i am so glad that he did not in real life ! but finally, in the last part of the song MOTHER AND FATHER he goes to his parents and they save him in afterlife! maybe in the heavens . I suggest you do the live version at Wembley with the lyrics because they are so important it is an absolute masterpiece ! every single note, every words and even the vocals are on another level ! The emotions are just one part of that song and there is so much going on behind that needs to pay attention, I am sure you will be fascinated and do a great reaction as always .
