  • New research reveals employers are missing out on the 60% of American workers who do not have a bachelor’s degree in large part due to self-imposed exclusionary hiring practices. The good news? There are deliberate choices managers, companies, industries, and regions can make to unblock clogged hiring systems, tap into skilled workers, and strengthen their talent pipelines.
The New York Times recently profiled the findings from Opportunity@Work's latest research report - Rise with the STARs -which uncovers degree discrimination’s negative impact on employers and workers Skilled Through Alternative Routes (STARs). Now is the time to turn the tide and join the conversation. In this virtual event, you’ll hear from experts within the workforce field about:
The latest findings talent leaders should know about the 70+ million U.S. workers who are Skilled Through Alternative Routes (STARs) like community college, military service, training programs, skills bootcamps, and learning on the job-rather than a bachelor’s degree.
New tools for managers, companies, industries, and regions to unlock STARs talent.
