The Transatlantic Sessions were a perfect antidote to the junk programmes on so many TV channels that are aired these days. If the BEEb would do more ot this I wouldn't mind paying the yearly licence. Great stuff!

Transatlantic Sessions have set the bar at a very high standard. Probably the best television ever. I've been a purchasing fan for over 8 years now and these recordings still give me a sense of time and place sadly missing in this modern world. Jerry and Aly should get Nobel Peace prizes.
I am pissed i didn't get this series in america..from the northeast ud think they would pick up such a gem on public television or throw on Netflix now
These ladies are spectacular. They all are lovely, but Emmylou has grown more strikingly beautiful the older she has gotten. Iris is a favorite and so is Mary. The previous poster nailed it--it doesn't get any better than this. Kudos to the musicians as well.

Just discovered this piece of musical gold. Emmy, Mary and Iris weave some magical harmonies. I’ll listen to it for a long time. Iris harmony is just transcendental. She makes the sing so rich. Such a fun loving song, just mesmerising.
