    Ang ganda talaga ng Cebu.

    Actually, the local Cebuanos don't call the I.T. Park as the BGC of Cebu; I never heard the Cebuanos call it that way; those tourists and vloggers are the ones who started calling or comparing I.T. Park as the BGC of Cebu. The I.T. Park is the I.T. Park has its own charm and beauty, as does BGC too. Actually, I.T. Park is smaller than Cebu Business Park, or CBD; it's where the Ayala Centre, the first and largest Ayala mall in Cebu, is located. It's just a 5- or 8-minute ride between I.T. Park and the CBD. Currently, there are three Ayala malls in Cebu: the first one in the CBD, the second in I.T. Park, the Ayala Malls Central Block, which is smaller than in the CBD, and the third one is still under construction just a few metres away from Mandani Bay and SM City Cebu in Mabolo, North Reclamation Area.

      True that, we don't even talk about BGC here in Cebu and yet these so called nga blogger keep calling it the BGC of Cebu, resulting in nonsense argument.

      @@reydeanlasru5917 LOL!😂 Really!?? BGC is like Singapore??? 🤣Very funny! BGC is 0verrated and 0verhyped! BGC is n0thing but b0ring buiIdings and fuII of f@ke pe0pIe and s0ciaI cIimbers! BGC doesn't even have luxury stores like Louis Vuitton, Dior, Versace, etc. Only Greenbelt Makati has some of these luxury stores, and in Cebu. FYI, the NUSTAR Resort in Cebu City houses more than 35 high-end luxury stores like Louis Vuitton, Celine, Versace, Dior, Salvatore Ferragamo, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Givenchy, Tiffany & Co., Bvlgari, Mont Blanc, Gucci, Chanel, Fendi, Hermès, Prada, Burberry, Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Ralph Lauren, Cartier, Valentino, Alexander MacQueen, Rolex, Swarovski, Estee Lauder, Kenzo, Loewe, Porsche Design, Off-White, Univers, Jo Malone, among others! These luxury stores located in key cities around the world! Cebu, like other cities like Singapore, Seoul, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Paris, among other vibrant cities, is home to these luxury stores around the world!
      FYI! Cebu City is also the only Philippine location of one of the world’s best restaurant brands, Mott 32, a Michelin star-award-winning Chinese restaurant. Very luxurious restaurant!
      There are eight Mott 32 restaurants in some of the world’s most vibrant cities; in addition to the original in Hong Kong, there is a Mott 32 in Vancouver, Las Vegas, Singapore, Bangkok, Dubai, Seoul and Cebu, the first and only Mott 32 in the country is located at Nustar Resort and Casino in Cebu City. As Mott 32 has only opened one restaurant per country.
      Cebu is the country’s no.1 most visited tourist destination! Cebu has everything you're looking for and has a lot to offer, and it is the only place in the Philippines where luxury, a modern, bustling city, and paradise meet.
      Magnificent Cebu lives up to its moniker as the "one and only true Queen City of the South.👑♥️

    Kumosta my kapatid (brother). I wanted to give you a word of encouragement. All of your vlogs of the other places in the Philippines might seem ordinary because they are NOT Boracay, or Palawan, or the new area of Taguig, but those ordinary places that you vlog, are special to people who have a connection to it. For me and my asawa, it is Lingayen and Illocos Sur, because that is where our roots are. Your vlog of all the places of the Philippines, are also very great, outstanding, and very enjoyable. Keep up the great vlog my brother. You and your vlogs are blessings. Aloha and Regards from Hawaii, God Bless !!!

    • @lionhearted1969
      @lionhearted1969 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Sure, Ayala Center Cebu is way better but it has a different vibe and captive market, so to speak. Both are just a few hundred meters apart, so the developer doesn't want the competition harsher for Central Bloc.:-)

    • @wee7458
      @wee7458 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Definately Ayala Center Cebu is much better. It is where people shop and it has so many stores. Definately a much more touristy mall.
      The one in IT is much more smaller and lacking in some stores, but we must not forget that IT isn't really a place where you shop. So the Ayala Mall in IT caters to foreign or local persons who own a unit on one of the condos as it's a more convenient and accessible mall, and also to the workers who are situated there.
      The 2 malls are close to one another anyways.

      Actually, they are small, air-conditioned buses. Cebu is phasing out the traditional jeepneys. They call them modern jeepneys because that's how we call our traditional mode of mass transportation. But they're modern buses, and they don't look like the traditional jeepneys.
      The jeepney started appearing on the streets in the 1950s after World War II ruined the country's transportation infrastructure. After the War, Americans left a surplus of jeeps and military vehicles behind, and Filipinos modified them and turned them into what are now called Jeepneys.

    I lived here for a year. Really discouraging that they don't keep the areas extremely clean. And they are just letting that pyramid rot right in the middle of IT Park. Been that way for over a year and a half. Sugbo is great though. Try Steve's Lechon. Or Yukga, the Korean BBQ place outside of the mall.
    Pretty ridiculous to be called "IT Park" though. It's almost entirely call centers that overseas businesses use because Filipinos speak slightly better English than Indians. No actual innovation is happening there at all.

    We just spent 2 weeks in Cebu City, in July 2023. Horrible place. Deep Poverty, Extrame Dirt, idiotic public policies, irritating and annoying, constantly backed up traffic. Tourist attractions are scaled-down and most are very disappointing, some are almost rip off level.
    Realistically, 90 % of Cebu City is unbearable. 5 % is okay and only 5 % is nice.
    We will avoid this city in the future, like plague.
    I could give you a dozen examples, but it'd be "whining"..haha
    Bohol especially or even Dumagete is far more livable and foreign tourist/expat friendly.

      Fyi, Cebu City is 20% flat land and 80% mountains. Now let me ask you, where did you based your percentage? 😂
      I know you didn't explore the whole CEBU CITY. Fyi, Cebu City has 31 beautiful waterfalls, clean rivers and lakes, natural springs, mountain resorts, flower gardens, camping spots, hiking trails, mountain restos and cafes with a beautiful city views and mountain views, etc where only a few cities in the Philippines have that kind of amenities and activities. Don't start with me comparing Cebu City to dumaguete city. Fyi, bohol is a province not a city so don't compare it to Cebu City. Instead, compare bohol to Cebu let see who's better 😂

    • @kingrafa3938
      @kingrafa3938 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      As if those poor people you've mentioned are originally from Cebu. Many of them are from bohol and negros oriental where dumaguete city located, other province in the Visayas and from mindanao. Do you really think those places i've mentioned can give employment to their people? You're dreaming and clueless. That's why they flock to Cebu to find work and build there houses illegally in the slum areas just what others did in the past and invite there relatives, friends and neighbors to rent a room in their illegally built house in Cebu while looking for work. That's what people from other provinces been doing since 1970's and those are the people you've called "poor" "dirty" "annoying" etc 😂
      By the way, there's no problem if you chose to live in a place where NPA terrorists group are abundant in bohol and negros oriental 😂 Cebu are insurgency free for more than 20 years 😂 And also Cebu is the only place in the entire Philippines that have no faultline that cause an earthquake and Cebu don't have a volcano 😂 And last but not the least, Cebu have the best healthcare/hospitals outside of metro manila 😂 Good luck!!!

      @kingrafa3938 Cletus, READ the whole post. 2 LONG WEEKS in CC. Been all over the place. The horrible far outweighs the nice.
      As for BOHOL....haha we live there. CC is a cesspool in comparison. Couldn't wait to get home. The few nice places in CC is not worth the rest.

    lol. we Cebuanos never ever labeled IT Park as the BGC of Cebu. it's funny. IT Park and CBD are the hottest area in Cebu but it's never the second to BGC. pfft.
