How funny to think that a Zen-garden is made with rocks. But the fact that the grom does not know, makes him even more Zen.That's brilliant!
We used to call that arch rock, " bondage Rock" used to jump off when there was no swell. Never even thought of surfing through it. Good memories.

We thought about it but never did. Grew up on the cliffs just to the north (the next neighborhood up). You, like me, know some of the spots around that arch though.
Crazy that they surf jump rock for fun, that one is no joke so many rocks

Hello Dylan, my compliments for this episode. I brings back the natural art of being in full understanding with the fluid nature and how we overcome challenges and age restrictions. I am 51 and I do have a scoliosis in which column angles sum almost 80o both sides and still my passion for the see and surf is the as younger. Congratulations to you and the surfer beings that participated in this. Cheers,

Nice! Watched the backwash grom mosh pit that day over a year ago...my normal go-to lefts were high tide backwash. Glad the groms got to make great use of the gnarly backwash conditions at Terramar! Also, the segment on 1' barrels gives me something to look forward to as my mid-age aches & pains make normal board surfing more & more difficult!!
