Yes, it's dated and a bit synthetic but I love it. My highschool scent. Even though it was probably dated then. Apparently it's making a comeback for millenials.

Excellent summer scent! I've been coming back to this fragrance every few years or so as a summer switch up for over 25 years. It's one of those older scents people can't readily remember so it seems new.

This was the 1st men's cologne i ever fell in love with. I rocked it in high school 20 years ago, and so many guys stole my scent. Not sure what it smells like today, i do have some o.g. bottle left.
I still think its good, but there is a large majority of people online that heard it's bad and just repeat that without smelling it.
Been buying this since the late 90’s I want to purchase more but I notice the bottle is see through now that’s different from the older ones

I bought this recently because I really enjoyed the scent growing up, buuut not so much anymore. I can see some people really enjoying this and for the price you can’t beat it. One thing about the longevity. This lasts all day for me. I put the shirt in my hamper and 2 days later was about to do laundry and still smelled it. While I don’t find it an attractive scent anymore, believe me, I wish I still did, I can see people really loving this. Thanks for the honest review. I do find the Versace line to have some attractive scents though. Thanks and please keep the content coming. I believe your an honest reviewer

I just had to revisit this post. I’m starting to change my mind on blue jeans. It’s actually growing on me. While I don’t see it as a sexy scent or a night out scent, it is quite pleasant and kinda comforting actually lol. So yea, I’m eating my words from the previous comment
I smell this scent today while I was sitting to the train station . A guy came and right away he has a strong smoke scent and this smell was kind covering it but I could take it thanks God to my amazing odorat I asked him what is wearing he told me versache blue jeans “

It does smell a bit like cleaner at first...lol, i bought some for my son yesterday but im definitely going to be wearing it too. Im going to try layering it over a walk through of pink sugar
Most citrus forward freshies will smell a bit like cleaner because they try to replicate clean smells. I think this was a great purchase for your son, and i hope he likes it!

I'm 18 I got this fragrance 2 days ago and I like it! I don't want to spend too much on fragrances as a student but this is very good for the price IMO. I'm gonna use it daily. 👍 I don't get why people hate it especially guys around my age in TikTok saying it smells like "cat piss" or "Old man's sweaty testicles"... Just because it's an old school fragrance doesn't mean it's bad guys! I like how it smells on skin and longevity is decent for me around 6 - 8 hours. I don't know if women around me like it though 😅 Maybe I'll find out soon or later. Thanks for the review!

Blue jeans will always be in my collection, it’s definitely not what it was in the 2000’s when my pop always wore it . But it’s still honestly very loud on me . Will always be a favorite of mines !! . To me smells just like a fresh pair of dark blue jeans . If you know what I mean lol

A great 94 classic, when I worked at Versace in the UK when it was released it also came in black, white and red. The blue and black are the best out the 4.

For me this is my favorite fragance now, i think is a frangance with much versatibility but specially in summer and spring, i have hugo man, boss bottled parfum, invictus, leau dissey and jpg le beau
And it's a very affordable fragrance from a luxury brand! Can't go wrong
This is a awesome scent! I don't agree with dated unless you mean it's not another blue scent or ambroxin scent. This is a amazing fragrance that you must wait a minute before deciding if you like it or not as the initial smell is nothing like the dry down. And it does last a long time. If I sleep in a t shirt I put this on the morning before.....I can still smell it. Will it project 24hr out....I doubt it, but you will still be smelling good close up.
Dated means it's not like modern perfumery. I still wear it a lot!

@@ChadSecrets it's got a spicy acquatic vibe that is just decidedly masculine. it's a little bit sweet which is the only thing about it that even approaches the other way, but the spiciness of it with the woodiness and the blend of herbs and florals in there is not something that leans feminine. if i smelled it on a woman i would think that she's wearing a man's cologne. it's too basic. too grounded and rich with spice. it's not like some niche unisex concoction either. it's a classic male type of fragrance like dolce pour homme or like cool water or bulgari aqua, it even has a touch of animalic vibe like a kouros or rive gauche somewhere in there. it all hold together for a manly scent. come on bro. you even said you cant smell all the notes, but you have to take the time and pick them out one by one. you can't just go 'oh you're getting this and this and that's it" no bro that means something is not right with how youre analyzing it. because there is so much depth and complexity to this fragrance you didnt do it justice at all. maybe your palette is not sophisticated enough to parse it out, but that just speaks to how masterfully it is blended together. this is an excellent MENS fragrance.

This is a perfect example of TRY BEFORE YOU BUY. It's A Hard Nope for me. It smelled like lemon juice squeezed over garbage for me. I returned it 2 days later.
