The Future of the Intamin Hydraulic Launch Coasters - th-cam.com/video/g65IFeJcq-w/w-d-xo.html
This coaster is going to be a monster to safety inspect on a regular basis due to its size alone.
Everyone seems to be an expert huh 😂
It's the Middle East, they don't have safety standards.
@@JesusSaves668I do think people in the roller coaster community commenting on posts have a decent level of knowledge about safety regulations of coasters lol
Won't be as bad as you think. More then a normal coaster, yes but not an extreme amount
if it were to be a nightmare to inspect normally, then they’d probably employ some sort of large team just for that
Maintenance would take hours to fix one loose screw
Why? What would make it take longer to fix something then any other coaster?
@@stephenjames5808 Because its 13 thousand feet long, and the screws are gonna be the size of dinner plates. Maintenance is gonna be pricey this parks only opening for max 5 years before closing if it ever opens, six flags have tried to build parks in the middle east, each have failed horribly
@@InfinitePio first, they don't typically use screws on coasters especially the track and supports, they use nuts and bolts. Second, plenty of coasters have nuts and bolts the same size as this thing will. Therefore the time to fix/repair one will be the same on another ride.
The length of the ride does not affect how long it will take to repair a bolt, it does however mean there will be more to repair then normal. (Nuts and bolts don't typically have too many issues)
They will use drones to inspect and also to replace bolts. Just like they ley electric drills ride camels. Old an new together. th-cam.com/video/6ll4-OiLn4E/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Z95anrYGO2dFphmz&t=71
I wonder if that ridiculous airtime hill will actually give airtime
There’s nothing saying how much speed you will have going into it. It would need a lot of speed though
It might not have ejector airtime (though that would be beyond amazing) but it will almost certainly give sustained floater airtime unless they make it WAY too shallow.
This may be the best coaster in the world when (when!) it opens. The first drop is giga height and is profiled similar to drops like Expedition GeForce and Kondaa, and it is followed by a rapid fire barrage of ejector airtime. The second drop looks absolutely insane and will probably give you bruises, and the rest of the ride looks intense and fast paced as well. This may just be the most ambitious coaster ever, from the most ambitious entertainment project ever!
Intamin is unbelievable. Just sucks this masterpiece is in a place few will visit including myself.
Few will visit?
Have you any idea of the population of Riyadh or the amount of tourists Saudi Arabia brings?
@@MrSTONEking dont get me wrong they get tourists but they’re 15th in the world in terms of total tourism which isnt insane when looking at the countries that actually have coasters. Besides that they will likely struggle to attract GP with their main attraction being a 607 foot tall coaster that also has a intamin giga attached to it…
@@Adeuceinthejohnare you serious? This is absolutely going to draw in the general public!
@@biguzivert ive gone to parks with big group of friends that are gp. They wouldn’t even get on stuff like diamondback steve or i305. Going across the world for something that terrifies you doesn’t make much sense. Theres a reason disney is more successful than six flags.
@@Adeuceinthejohn the general public is more than just little kids. Disney is successful because of its media empire that appeals to children.
I just rode VelociCoaster and Hagrid's Motorbike Adventure for the first time. All I can say is that I ❤ Intamin.
This will be one I never ride due to it's location.
Pretty Epic but im not going to Saudi Arabia just to ride a coaster
I would definitely go to Saudi Arabia just to ride this. This ain't just a coaster!
@@scottyjbdSame here!
If it was any other coaster, we'd all agree that it was definitely happening. But even despite the fact that it has been announced and is under construction, I think we're all still only cautiously optimistic. After all, there have been several major mega towers announced in both Saudi Arabia and UAE where construction began and was then halted indefinitely. Now, a coaster is different than something like the Jeddah Tower. But this is an incredibly ambitious coaster that seems to be pushing the potential of what a coaster can realistically do. I'd love for it to happen but I'm still not quite sure.
The G.O.L.F. Coaster(Gentlemen Only Ladies Forbidden)
@@CoastersThrillsAndAirtimeHills A rollercoaster isn't that ambitious. If you have the funds, it will work.
ITS HAPPENING ITS REAL!!!
@@CoastersThrillsAndAirtimeHills with time we’ll all be able to head over there. Tough times can’t last forever
The wheels on those Trains, Damn Well Better be made from a Very Excellent Composite, to withstand a Tramendus Amount of Friction, and Heat!!!🔥
the brake run will go straight to the maintainance area to change the wheels
That’s what I’m saying.. I don’t see the wheels surviving that sustained speed for that long. They will delaminate so fast and Intamin isn’t known for keeping a healthy stock of parts. Better have that order number on speed dial.
@@gnutscha 🤣🤣🤣
@@thecoasterdad9808 Trains on The Millennium Force were burning up Wheels BIG TIME Within the first few weeks of The opening season in 2000.
@@ellexking9136 I can imagine! I’d like to know what maintenance looks like on formula Rosa. I think that would help paint a good picture on what we are potentially looking at.
My 10 year old seriously wants to become president of intamin when he grows up
It will likely have an I-305 kinda demise, enthusiasts will flock to it, but nobody else will want to ride it.
Yeah tbh intimidator 305 is a bit of a bucket list coaster for me but because I live in the uk until I’m an adult it’s not feasible. We’ve been lucky to go Orlando as a family a couple times and this summer was amazing with iron Gwazi and velocicoaster. As you said though apart from people who love intensity, it’s too much for the general public.
I agree. I can't see something this large and intense being very popular.
This coaster is very spread out you just are going to have to handle the 2 drops other than that it doesnt look that bad.
This coaster will be alot more tame then most would think.
That's what I'm thinking because I don't even think I'd be able to hand a 500 foot airtime hill
Holy crap
I’m curious if another coaster war will happen again at some point if it hasn’t started already
I believe that I am the first person to comment on the video concerning the “world’s tallest rollercoaster”
Boom!
If "Falcons Flight" is paving the way for future Intamin coasters, those coasters will most likely be built in "the future".
No sht?
With Saudi Arabia and the Mid-East completely destabilizing, I don't think there's going to be many people wanting to go to this park.
Literally the only reason to go to Saudi Arabia.
I won't believe it till I see it testing!!
It's super cool it's being built, however I can't see myself making a trip to Saudi Arabia anytime this decade, but I hope it runs well as I would love to see Intamin have continued success.
0:20 Also the longest, longer than Steel Dragon 2000 and The Beast.
Nice to see the channel name return 💪
I honestly don't know if a ride like this is a good idea
YET
i couldn't even fathom GP handling a ride like that
Hey Theme Park Predictions! I Finally Got To Ride Fury 325! I Couldn’t Believe How Amazing It Was! From The First Drop To The Beautiful Treble Clef, It Is My Favorite 100%! 🤩
I bet it's awesome
@@DispatchProductions It Is Definitely Worth The Wait! I Highly Recommend It! 🤩
Hey! Happy for you! It’s running great this year!
@@TP_Recommendations Thank You! It Really Is Running Great! My Next Goal Is Top Thrill 2! 🤩
I'm certain Falcon's Flight will only be done once as a novelty and will not be the future of roller coasters.
It would have been nice if we could've actually seen the calender.
Good luck maintaining this beast
Excited to see the trains
I’m waiting for a theme park blogger to do a video on this ride and this park .
I’m all for it. But track record for finishing mega projects in that area isn’t good . And that’s the park alone is promised a lot of record breaking rides along with detailed and Immersive areas . I really hope the park gets completed . I just just it as a lot of challenges they’re facing .There’s just a lot on the table. Please do more videos on this ride and that six flags park if possible . I’m curious how it all plays out .
Thanks for mentioning everything also in meters!!
You do the BEST rollercoaster videos man!!! ❤
Thank you! I appreciate you
This thing is gonna be Desperado in 5 years.
Zamperla will convert it into Falcon 2.
Well, what can I say. Its my birthday today, you make a video about Falcon’s and everything’s going good! For your information, Falcon’s Flight will feature custom designed trains that can withstand the stress and speed, it will feature lap-bars but more safety elements will be added!
Thank you! Happy birthday to you!
I originally thought that we'd end up with a severely scaled down version of what was announced at the start, but here we are. It looks like they're going with the original after all. If the profiling of the elements are more drawn out, then this won't be a super intense ride. But that speed it'll carry from the 600-ft drop paired with launch will be amazing.
I have a feeling that drop of the cliff will be the most forceful moment
Intamin doesn't need this ride to prove that they are back.
Update: They're actually doing it. Intamin is bringing it home once again! Hopefully it won't become an I305 moment
I find this project insane but very interesting
crazy
B&M should follow suite!
If this ride gets finished American exceptionalism in the Coaster Wars is done
I sure hope that this ride is a success. I am a little worried it end up being like how X was for arrow
This is 100% funded by the Saudi estate. Oil money deep for centuries. Intamin company will be fine compared to Arrow and working with a standard corp like Six Flags
Most likely will never go there! Hope this comes in America!
To be honest, I think a lot will have to be changed in order to do this. The banking on some elements are impossible. I wouldn’t be surprised that if this thing is so intense, it just can’t open. Also, that drop- reprofiling, please.
Where?
To do a proper daily inspection of a roller coaster of this magnitude is going to be nearly impossible, although there safety standards are probably not as intense there. I wish I could ride it but there is no way I am ever going to visit there.
Coaster enthusiasts in 2018 always think that this might not happen. 2023, Six Flags Qiddiya: hold my beer
This is being built in Saudi Arabia where alcohol is illegal.
If this thing opens, I doubt the height record will be topped in a long long time, if ever
#CedarPoint take notes. #CedarFair #TonyClark observe #Intamin
Something doesn’t seem right. Why would they build a coaster in what looks like the middle of nowhere? Think of how often it would be closed due to dust storms.
I’m a little worried about that as well
I think that's part of the reason it was built in a canyon as tall as the coaster. Obviously it will still happen but it will mostly prevent it.
Welcome to Saudi Arabia, where none of their mega projects make any sense.
Actually, it's part of a mega resort/ city...Think of Vegas like...
Less than 30 minutes from Riyadh, and the city limits are expanding with developments.
The concept of this coaster boggles my mind.
"future intamins in the future" lol
Sorry to be a negative nancy, but this coaster absolutely SCREAMS constant-maintenance-nightmare
You said Intamin is back but when did they leave? When did they “ fall off” ? When were they not … thee Go to roller coaster manufacturer when major theme parks wanted a record-breaking, Jaw dropping coaster
Where is this going to be located?
i hope this park opens someday... like, that linear city is doomed to failure, and this park is too much unrealistic
Just wondering how the wheels and wheel bearings will handle these insane speeds and lengthly ride duration. Throw in the desert heat and you have a huge problem. Intamin must have learned something from Formula Rossa to even attend this ride.
How much is the Calender?
$25 I think
@@TP_Recommendations Thanks!
Makes me sad that I’ll never get to ride it.
They would have to have people wear full face pilot helmets and maybe even full fire retardant suits in order to even ride this
Looks epic. Keep at it, Intamin!!💙💙
lol as soon as heard intamin was making this, i scrolled down through the comments to see if you were here XD
@@CoasterComedy I'm definitely here! I find every Intamin vid lol

Are you going to travel to Saudi Arabia to ride Falcon’s Flight after it opens?
No not at all. Not the most friendliest countries to visit.
We currently live in the UAE. We will be driving over the border....😅
Yes for sure! One day!
@@TP_Recommendations awesome!!!
@@garysteeley1932 actually if you do the research, Saudi Arabia and the USA are allies and have been for decades. They are not dangerous to Americans. The only thing dangerous about going to Saudi Arabia is the bombs and missile attacks on Saudi Arabia from other countries.
Saudi Arabians are actually welcoming and very hospitable towards American tourists.
This coaster taking the 500 foot record and 600 foot before cedar point can 😭😭😭 I’m joking though would have loved to see my home park get this
Its funny...I started researching this because I asked myself...Why dont't they just build a coster in the grand caynon?...(I undstand falcons flight does not do this) we could easily have a 1,2,3 or even up to a 6000 yes thousand foot drop...Of course - some might argue something about "destryoying the natural beauty...but what would be more beautiful than a coster with a 6000 foot drop?
The coaster would be 100k feet long! It would coast close to $1 billion lol
@@scottyjbd Okay...maybe a few minor challanges...LOL
If it is completed and opened I highly doubt that the general public will be riding this coaster. It's too fast and it's too high for them I'd like to try it at least once but I'm not going to be able to go to Saudi Arabia not unless some things change.
This ride is only a thing cause they’re oil rich billionaires over there and just want everything overly excessive . You think i305 is a GP repellent? No one is getting on this thing lol .
Lol so this ride went from 600ft, to 531’, probably to only 350’, then the park will shut down as it has many times before.
I will definitely ride it it looks soooo crazy 607 ft rollercoaster
Probably will have a lot of downtime.
Okay now, does anyone think that cedar point will go over 6 or 700 feet? Ever? Or any park for that matter, here in the usa?
If they do it'll be nothing like this
Maybe something similar to Superman at Magic mountain
Nope
Ehhh cedar point will probably combat that...see me april 1st for details
This coaster doesn't deserve to be there, it belongs at Cedar Point 😂. How, i have no clue.
I don’t think it will get built. At least not 600 ft tall
I’m am sadly not a believer due to sand and wind being so hard on this thing, not to be that guy but I don’t believe the pics are legit
They are real
The photo looks fake to me.
Unfortunately its in Saudi Arabia...they are known not to be to keen on women's rights over there....
If this is true then I covert Toto Islam even if I’m an atheist.
I’m not really on board with the excitement tbh and I don’t believe the project will finish. Intamin continue to build unreliable coasters, so if this one does actually get completed, I think it will have a lot of teething problems.
Due to the fact there is still a lot of discrimination against women etc - it’s not really a place I would be willing to visit.
A coaster I'll never get to ride..... 🏳️🌈
