- Today's battlefield is filled with hazards, from unexploded ordinances left over from training to dangerous explosive devices used in combat. To safely accomplish its mission, the Army must ensure that these dangers are neutralized. To achieve this task, the Army relies on the men and women who are members of the MOS 89D Explosive Ordnance Disposal Specialist.

With that being said imagine how many of the guys seen in this video actually passed the schoolhouse.
It actually changes upon the need of numbers. Meaning if they need to grow the career field they drop it a bit. In my day we had 80%. At one point during the Reagan year it got as low as 60%. Not saying I agree with it but it does need to stay high. Need certain skill sets to save their lives, etc.
Respect these men. My son is graduating AIT as an EOD in less than a month. Very proud of him!

How's it going? I'm thinking I might join the army and try this out. I'm just nervous that I'll absolutely suck at all the studying. I'm hoping it isn't as hard as it seems
@@dubb5508 at ft. lee, it is more fast pace just to get the people that cant do it, or the ones who are not ready for it out and to a different job. stay focused, dont slack, use your time wisely. the best advice i have, is dont over study with all the info they are going to throw at you in one day. try to keep school work at school the best you can
my daughter heads out next week to EOD training, should she show up a day early from what her orders say?
