Die Bollock Brothers sind kult, the 4 horseman ist eines der geilsten Alben und ich besitze es seit '85/'86, eben seitdem es erschienen ist und ich höre es heute noch gerne. Geiles Konzert, ich vermisse diese kleinen Club Konzerte wo man mit der Band noch absolut auf Tuchfühlung gehen konnte, ohne Absperrbereich und Security und Ulla (aus Aachen) geht richtig ab hat den 80s dance voll drauf😂 Ach waren das schöne Zeiten!!! You guys are amazing. I was the soldier who was based in Dortmund. I came to see you at The Memphis club there. The DJ (Marian) whi booked you, was a massive fan and played Faith Healer at least twice, every night. The dance floor/ stage, was on motors and extended out, at the push of a button. The whole of Dortmund was buzzing, after you played there. I came and spoke to you after the shiw and you were surprised that an English guy was there in deepest Germany, at your gig ! I heard you on John Peel the week before, introduced as Strawberry Switchblade. Peel loved you ! I think you changed the band name, shortly after the Peel Session ? Proper under rated top band of the late 80's, Rock/Punk raw Electronica. I'm so glad I found you again.

The frist song called "Magic Carpet Ride" ...fester Bestandteil meiner Jugend, leider habe ich sie nie live gesehen... dieses Video von 1988 (da war ich 18) ist der Knaller und Bollock Brothers waren (in dieser Zeit) offensichtlich eine richtig geile Live-Band... Top Guitarre, Super Bass und der Drummer wie eine Drummachine... Wahnsinn!!
gibts doch nicht...ich auch. jock hatte damals den opener kurz abgebrochen, um sein zettel mit dem showablauf richtig zu drehen. wir hatten ihn umgeklebt. 😁
This lineup was very good. The drummer still in the band. Guitarist became respect guitarmaker (And now he rejoined the band) The Bassist now off the radar (too bad. I love his bass playing) but on 90s he formed band "The Cuckoos" which was very good. Also love Serge Feys keyboard playing 🙂

Parkfest Waltrop vor 25 Jahren und danach Backstage mit denen ordentlich geschuettet. Es war so ein Fest!
