The Senate has a Democrat majority. She will get nominated and appointed. If the Democrat party has shown us anything it's that they party sticks together on important issues. And getting as many hard left judges onto the bench is paramount.

Actually, if I was Schumer, I would be pissed at the White House for sending over a nominee like this to where any high school freshmen can find out this stuff about her on Google and make the Dems look Communists if they vote to confirm her especially, in a tight senate race coming up in November. She was definitely a throwback fish.
However, the Republicans have some blame here too. Had they not nominated easily defeatable bad candidates like Herschel Walker and Memet Oz, throwing away the senate majority int the process, there is no way that nominees like this would stand a chance of even being brought up for confirmation anyway.

Judges are supposed to have an intimate knowledge of courtroom procedure and case docket at all times while in session. A judge that has to repeatedly look things up in the middle of an active court session is a liability. If you don't know your own work history, how are you supposed to remember the entire judicial history of the US? You can't look up prior case-law precedent as a judge if you don't know where to go looking for said cases.
Reminds me of my dad who also told me "I don't remember" when I confronted him about past actions, lol. They all read the same manual.
