Lex on a Drive at Traylor Ranch with Honey and Sue

Annette’s 4 year old Percheron, Lex, dons his bells and heads out with us for our weekly drive on the reserve where he started from behind and ended up taking the lead on the return trip. Laura‘s 19 years old Haflinger pair, Honey, and Sue, teamed up to give us a wonderful drive, staying nice and even, pulling equally because Sue, who is usually very forward, matched her moves with Honey. It was a delightful drive with very little adjusting on the lines to keep them even. Midway through our drive we stopped so a group of children and their mothers could come up and pet the horses.
