Amazing garden, and you grow tomatos 😊 . We living in the near of stavanger, very different weather as you have around olso. Ground is more cold and rocky. But we try our best
@@alfheimregenerativefarm Oh nice were you guys travelling other places too or just to BC- WOOF ing perhaps maybe ? I’m in the West Kootaneys. I showed some of my fashions in Stavanger Norway a few years back :) loved seeing a little bit of Norway so beautiful.
Hi! I'm about to start my own balcony garden here in Southern Norway. I just found your channel and am so excited to learn! Do you recommend any specific soil for starting vegetable seeds?
Do you have any plans to incorporate live stock on your farm, or are you going to rely on horse/cattle manure from other farms? Edit: Realizing this video is one year old, and you might have videos showing exactly what I asked about, sorry😂
We have sheep, ducks and chickens so we are fully self reliant when it comes to manure :) I think we only ever got 2 truckloads of manure elsewhere, our entire barn was completely full of sheep and horse manure when we moved in so that lasted us quite a while
you're such an inspiration. where in Norway do does your garden located. and what month do you start planting?. Im also from Norway i plant some vegestables there are years of success but there are year that its difficult. Hope you can answer my question.
Thank you! We’re about 2h from Oslo. We start sowing in feb/march and then planting out is after 17th of may. Yes the success can vary a lot, but as long as i plant a variety of plants, i find that something will always turn out good. Last year was a cool summer so brassicas did really well, this year is a hot summer so im assuming that tomatoes, pumpkins and cucumbers will do the best :)
Thank you. I live in Finland and I feel like there's no videos about real permaculture and how to survive here. I rather not eat only tree bark and oats from what I've heard. We have so many lakes that our cities and yards are not shaped to take advantage of rain.
Hundred percent agree! So much of the permaculture content is in warmer climate zones, but rarely anyone shows how to survive in a place where there is winter 5-6months out of the year... It's hard work :)
I can’t BELIEVE how humongous and healthy everything is!! Gorgeous! ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
useful content. Thank you for sharing and greetings from Oncu Farm in Indonesia 😊👍

Where do you guys live roughly and what is your climate zone?
We live in a temperate climate zone, zone 7 on the usda hardiness scale and 4 on the Norwegian scale
🥰
What fruit trees can we grow in norway? Is it possible to grow mango tree?
I am New here ni Norway and I want to plant vegetable I am here in Stavanger can you give me advise and tips for the beginners
Wow! Big garden. How high up in Norway do you guys live? My partner and I are thinking of moving to Norway.
180m above sea level! But not very far north, around Oslo area
@@alfheimregenerativefarm Thanks for the reply! did you find cheap property around Oslo?
@@2pacorwhat Nothing around oslo area is cheap (: But when you start to look 2hours away like us then it becomes more reasonable
@@alfheimregenerativefarmooh ok. Well 2 hour radius is still "near Oslo" for me in a country as large as Norway haha. Thank you for your replies.
👌👌
