Hi Dawn! I am so glad you did a video on Native American jewelry. You are right, it is so beautiful and looks good on everyone. I love your collection. In Washington State I have been able to find so much turquoise jewelry cheap. (When I lived in Los Angeles it was really expensive.) Some people here didn't even know what it was. However, I don't find the high-end vintage stupendous jewelry that you have Dawn lol!

I am new to collecting vintage jewelry. I found a pair of clip on earrings with the markings ASTEE in them , did not find to much info about Astee . Are they collectable? The pair I found look mid century.

I always understood the squash blossom jewelry are the pieces with a squash blossom design, which is like a flower.

Hi. I am just watching all of your videos. I watched this one a few days ago and I was totally surprised to see something you showed, in our little vintage market. I am in Regina, Saskatchewan Canada. A lady at the market had the exact, or very close, necklace with the carved animals and birds. She is asking $120.00. I never had a chance to talk to her so I don't know how much she knows about it or where she bought it. Is this an appropriate price? Thanks for sharing all of your knowledge. Hi! Thank you for your great videos. I have the dark red color vintage beds, very heavy as if they were made of stone, I suspect that might be jasper. But may also be bakelite. I saw many sources and could;t find anything similar to get a clue on the material or the price. I bought it from one old woman alone with other interesting things. What is the signature on the sand cast belt? Is it marked sterling?
It is illegible but tests sterling.. eventually I will be able to read it

It's what the NA people call it, inspired by squash blossom flowers that are edible
