    I have this but the regular. I haven't got mine installed yet on my new boss radio(still need to install radio) in my cobalt ss. But I did get a quick listen on the stock radio...and it made me smile pretty big. And I used to have the rockford fosgate dual 15 punch box with 4 horn tweeters back in the day in my back seat lol so I've had some bass before. And it's replacing the cobalt ss stock 10 inch sub. I changed all speakers out to kickers and they sounded a lot better than stock 2006 pioneer speakers lol.

  • @kldbv982
    @kldbv982 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The reason no one hears your bass is because you have an SUV. It has nothing to do with that model sub. The sound bounces into the cab and into a big area of open space versus being in a trunk bouncing in a small enclosed space. It will sound louder in an SUV on the inside versus a car, but not carry as well to the outside. In my younger days I had (3) higher end 12’s and a 1500 watt amp in a Ford Explorer. It was ear rattling inside. Way overkill; yet you really couldn’t hear it outside like you thought you would. It’s physics, not a model specific situation.
    I am putting one of these P300’s and an LC2i in my Rogue today. I’ve installed a few of these for others already, but this is my first time owning one myself. They really are great subs for all genre’s. I’ve always preferred 10’s as they produce tighter bass, especially in a sealed box.
    Thanks for the video! Was good motivation to stop watching TH-cam and get to work!

      That really depends on how much you can handle, there isn't a massive difference in bass between them, but the 12 will give you a bit stronger of a punch than the 10. So you will hear a bit deeper bass. The price difference is only $20 so I would recommend the 12 simply cause you can always turn it down if it's too much.
