It's different for each laptop model, but common for these asus G750 laptops only. I got the number from an old asus forums, it's linked in the description under "additional forum tutorials" in the resources and tips section. Thanks for the comment!
@@YoussGm no worries, tho i think you’d probably had to say that because people with different machines might stumble upon this videos. I myself watched this videos since on my desktop im used to mess around with BIOSes. Great video tho :)
Honestly I have no idea if its supposed to have an animated bios. Doesn't look like it does at least. This isn't my laptop but a 'customers' laptop. Plus I dont think it has an nvme slot since its old. You might have a different laptop.. not a 4th gen intel, idk tho. If your bios isnt detecting your nvme it could be that your bios version doesnt support it, so you would have to update to a newer version.
@@Gothguitarist seems like only the G750jx has nvme support. So make sure you have the bios for that dpecific model. Other than that I have no idea. Disconnect and reconnect the ssd is all I can recommend
Bro this is so helpful. i have an Asus zenbook q409z model. Somehow after windows 11 major update it is running wrong bios from a different model UX3402ZA. My audio stopped working and I can't even enter to the bios menu. Do you think if I did this method and flashed it with the correct bios the issue would be fixed? Many thanks btw
I think you should first of all dump your current bios and save it in case something happens. You might be able to do it using some software in windows or save it manually with the programmer. Then I would try updating the bios from windows itself, going to the asus website and downloading the latest bios update, then going through the installation. Hopefully it works. If it doesnt, then you will have to get a working bios file for your specific model and then flash it with the programmer. Might or might not work.
@@YoussGm I just ordered this tool form amazon and gonna try to fix my bios issue over this weekend. I will definitely make a backup of my current bios (using software and manually as well just in case).ASUS' official bios file in zip format and I will use the software you demonstrated and convert it into a .bin file. I am a little confused about the step where you combined the old backup bios file with the new bios file. Is that step necessary/crucial? Or can I just flash the new bios that i downloaded from asus? Again, thank you so much in advance. I subscribed the channel, btw
@@YoussGm It really sucks because I would understand if I flashed the wrong BIOS myself and somehow bricked the audio, but microsoft/asus pushed this windows update and bricked my laptop. I will make sure to turn off auto updates on my laptop.
The step where I combined the bios files will only work for the specific laptop model I showed in the video. You will either have to find a full bios or if the one asus provides is the same size as the dump you can use it.
thank you for the video , question when you took the second backup did u unplug then replug the clip in inorder to take backup2 ? also regarding the reconstruction of image , what does these two areas represent? the one u copied from the backup and the downloaded bin. thank you in advance and i really need your help , my strix g15 a.e. just got bricked and there is no tutorial about it online
For the second backup I did not replug the clip, you leave it as it is. For the construction of the image, the first area is an identifier for the laptop with the main functions, the second area is what changes when you do a bios update. Idk how to know when one area changes to another though. You have to find online for your specific model because not all of them are the same for the reconstruction. You can also find an already unbricked bios but it will show in the bios that it is invalid. If you do that, you could try to compare your current corrupted bios to the working one with invalid identifier, and then see where tbe differences end, then splice them together if you get what I mean.
@@YoussGm thanks for fast reply , its geniuos idea ,also i heard that there are paid service online or freelancers who can do that for ppl i just can't find any. if you familiar with any knind of these services i would aprreciate that
You could take it to a local repair shop but that could be 50$ or more. You could also make a post on www.bios-mods.com requesting someone to unbrick your bios, it will be around $0-$30 not sure though if they do that service because its a website for mods but worth a try.

If the problem is the bios then yes it can probably be fixed. However if you dont think its because of the bios then this doesn't work as the problem would be because of another issue. do you mind explaining where you took the various 0-1FFFFF / 800- from? is it universal with OEMs or what
