** Why Apple Watch 5 battery drains quickly **
All lithium batteries tend to wear out after a certain number of discharge and charge cycles, the battery in Apple Watch Series 5 is no exception. This is normal for any electronic device. If the battery in your Apple Watch is draining quickly, you need to replace the battery with a new one. The repair process can take 40 to 60 minutes.

Thank you so much for your video/help. I was able to replace the battery and seal on my daughters watch by watching your video. I was also lucky to receive a micro screwdriver set for christmas. Without that i would not have been able to remove the screws. My other fixit set did not have it. Again, thank you for the video...EXCELLENT!!!

You literally ripped the voice script from another guys video about replacing the screen and used it for your battery replacement video. Wild

so i did everything right and the watch used to boot loop on the charger, and not turn on at all off the charger, but now its not turning on at all. top left of the screen wires there is a connector that is just not connected to anything. maybe that has to do with something?

Could be a defective battery, did you end up figuring it out?
I had the same thing happen with my battery replacement. I just put my old battery back in for now until my new battery shows up.
I did notice the ebay listing for my battery said to leave it on the charger for 10 hours so I left it on there for ~15 hours and it still never fully booted.

Just had the screen changed on my sons Apple Watch 5 and no the battery will suddenly go from charge to 1% and 90% Health to ‘service’ then keeps reboot and won’t charge over 1%. Worth replacing battery or could the repair place damaged something more serious?. Was fine before 90% Battery health and charged well even with its smashed screen

if you are an electronics repair technician, don't repair this device!! Haha just joking but its not a fun job, buy a new force touch gasket along with whatever part you are replacing, chances are it will break on you and now my client is having to wait a week + for a very simple repair. not happy rn haha

Is a working Force Touch gasket needed for the rest of the watch to work? watchOS 7 removed all Force Touch features.
