While delivering fliers for Donnelly, Mike (Chris Farley) falls down a hill... and keeps falling...
FILM DESCRIPTION:
Handsome, smooth-talking Al Donnelly (Tim Matheson) has everything going for him. A politician, he is engaged in a heated gubernatorial race with the feisty Governor Tracy (Christine Ebersole), a tough old bird who doesn't hesitate to play hardball with opponents. Unfortunately for her, things are looking good for Donnelly. Fortunately she finds his Achilles' heel with his young brother Mike Donnelly (Saturday Night Live alumnus Chris Farley), a fat slob gym teacher and hopeless imbecile who only wants to win his more successful sibling's respect. Unfortunately all he does is embarrass poor Al to death. In desperation, Al assigns the sardonic and prissy Steve Dodds (David Spade) to keep Mike under constant surveillance. The real trouble begins when Tracy's aids try to frame hapless Mike for arson.

This same thing happened to my dad when we went skiing one time. I laughed my ass off the entire way down the mountain. Felt sorry for him afterwards, but then it got funny again cuz we'd watched this on TV the day before. Lol.

Fun fact is he did the entire stunt himself because they had trouble finding a stuntman his size but was as limber as Farley.
I always love these stunt stories. Like that time Kaitlin Olson (who plays Dee in Always Sunny) did a stunt where she headbutts a car and did it way better than the stunt double. She committed so much to the stunt that it left a dent on the car that is visible in the final cut.

They simply don’t make genuinely funny films like this anymore. Too many of the greats have passed on. I just love being able to look back on the comedy of Chris Farley , John Candy etc.

I remember the day we shot this up in Wrightwood Ca , Mt High .. Darin , Mike , Jayson & Joe plus myself were rigging cameras 🎥 all the down the hill to capture these angles , we also rigged the camera to a truck axle tethered with ropes for brakes to capture the POV of the fall not shown ...
