We have went to pulicat and it was not at all worth it. If you are planning for only boating means i will say dont waste your money. Boating will be like some 15-20 min and then they will drop you in some third class shore (wont call it island at all) and will ask you to explore for sometime. This place have nothing to explore. After insisting, the boatman dropped us in another shore for swimming which was also very dangerous as there were bottles inside water and we were warned by other boatman that there are jelly fish in water which can give painful sting. I wont recomment anyone to go to this place with such scammers. We were lucky that nothing happened to us but we wasted our money and time.

How to reach this place from Chennai. By road. Only bus.
You can reach minjur and take a vus to pulicat (pazhaverkadu). I have seen many buses in pulicat during our travel.
