in the latest episode of the "break the silence" docu-series, he mentioned that what seems extraordinary to other people is seems ordinary to him and what's seems ordinary to other people, it was seen as extraordinary to him. he's referred to other people's life, the way they can go through normal days, travelling, walking in the streets where nobody will even notice you, eating good foods in a random restaurant without disturbed caused by their "extraordinary". he's jealous of them. for someone introverted person like yoongi, it's hard for him. :'(( this breaks my heart a lot

I couldn't go far by saying maybe they have that thoughts, or solely said min yoongi has that thought that it breaks his heart knowing there's people who won't be able to have a taste of fame, attention and wealthiness. it's the best saying sticking to his words again, that what seems special to other people, was seen as extraordinary to him and vice versa. it's hard to be in their places. it’s sad that a lot of people don’t understand that, for example my mother was so surprised when someone told her he helps people with depression (therapy) for a year, bc she thought i’d go away in idek a few months or something????
It never goes away, and I understand for him it will always be a form of inspiration for writing. This is what I do with my feelings since I can't express them or tell them to people I write them, it is still better than burying them all inside, that's something that can kill you. Thing is, this song I see it as: You know is gonna hurt till the end, pain never goes away forever. We will be happy one time and sad another. He's asking himself why take it so seriously when you don't have to. I don't think his hurting as much as he used to now, but depression is not something you heal, it only gets better if you work on it yes. But it never goes away, is fine tho, it makes us human, it makes us more sane and leveled with ground than people who have it all and have never been depressed. At least that's what I took off from this song. So am thankful for the bad things that happened to me in the past, they made me who I am today tbh.
Please dont use the word depression in a wrong way. Depression means a dark delusion causes of negative mind set. Every one have sad reality but the ppl with negative mind or lack of hope or overthinking on that issue leads to depression. Depression can overcome but there always be a sad past. If we remember the past that we overcame it inspires us to do more positive things nd to keep forward.D-2 is a product like that. He over came depression but if he remember his past depression stage it inspires him to wright this song to take the things easily nd dont take serious about sad ,upsetting things.he said "Every one will hurt dont take all the things seriously, move on from it". Depression goes away but we still remembers the sad past. Iam saying this as a past depression girl who lived in a hostel with a lack of hope for regaining my grades nd thoughts of su*ide.but iam ok now i overcame my depression but when i think of my past it upsetts me y i take those things too seriously ,so now i never overthink the things which upsets me. I accepts the fact nd move on nd try . It hurts sometimes but it is not depression.so dont miss use the word depression. They have such a huge fame, and are so rich now, but they still reflect on their past, and also think about the future, and realise that none of it is eternal, and therefore are very grateful for the things they have achieved and have for now. I do feel like his mixtapes are more of his raw sides that he does want to show. He does something completely different with his solo tracks. He wants you to feel how he is feeling and understand. Despite him having fame and success, it is pressuring and hard at times. In shadow, you can see that by him saying "Please don't let me fly. I see him mentioning "Big rings, big houses" a lot too. He did first dream of those materialistic things. However, he comes to realize that having everything doesn't make him content.
But what's in a name? The title suga is also his and therefore a part of him. I personally didnt feel like this song was directed at fans or haters but rather a reflection on what it means to be a human and a person in our society. If a person does great things everyday it becomes as ordinary to them as the boring things everyone else does. I feel this song is about how life passes by and its the highs and lows that we're left with...I don't think he regrets his stage persona at all.

I dont think this song is sad or necessarily just about him. I think this is a reflection on what it means to be human. Being human is more than just being hurt. Whether you're an idol, a politician, an office worker or living in the desert...some aspects of humanity transcend circumstance. No one can recall every single day of their life, right? Not you or I, or BTS or even great historical figures. Even if they did something incredible everyday...then it would become ordinary to them. I have thought about this a lot really. You could travel the world and it might not mean as much to you as a kid going on their first holiday abroad. Ultimately your experience in life is framed by emotion and it limits every person but it can also be our strength as a society. For me this song really touched in stuff I think about already but of course, he puts it so beautifully. My words dont make nearly as much sense 😭😭
No I think you did well! I agree! This song is about him, but it’s also a reflection on humanity-on all of us. It’s my favorite from the mixtape besides Set Me Free because it’s so simple and comforting yet thoughtful. The lyrics kind of sound like free verse poetry, just a meandering string of thoughts and I love it
I really like your point of view, I agree with you ! This song is a lot about human's perspective about each other, what we can think about some things can be seem as incredible for us but it can be for some just an ordinary thing, especially when you are an idol. + this song reminds me a lot about everythingoes by Namjoon when he says that people change and nothing lasts forever, but Yoongi explain this mindset from his point of view and very explicitly. I'm happy that BTS can be free in their creativity and being not afraid of talking about personal stuffs like in this song, they deserve all the happiness in the world.

I respect this man a lot. The artistic way in which he expresses his thoughts/feelings, I respect that a lot. He is an inspiration to be happy, to be myself, to be confident, to be okay when things don't go the way I expect them to. I want that he experiences the comfort, strength and happiness we get through his music. Min Yoongi has managed to do what not everyone is capable of doing and that is - Making other people's lives happier and better, and giving them the strength they need. He sings/raps about topics which not everyone has the gut to open up about.
I ponder upon the thought that he must feel overwhelmed and anxious by the huge amount of attention/fan following he has, because he is expected to present himself as being perfectly alright the whole time. But I hope he knows that we, as his admirers and fans, respect him and understand that he is human, and thus, we don't expect him to be perfect everytime. We love and respect him the way he is. I'm glad Bighit gives him the freedom to express himself through his music.

Okay so I feel bad for my Idols I really do. I wish they could do normal things like eat at restaurants but at the same time, this is the life they choose. Not being able to do these things is the price you have to pay for fame, wealth etc. Others (like myself) would kill to be in their positions. So at the end of the day, they knew the pros&cons of trying to become idols and they sacrificed many things to get to where they are today. Sorry but I really don’t understand those who feel sorry famous people, unless they’re child stars.

And we gotta say that Kpop idols have it the worst where literally every moment and decision of your life is scrutinized and either praised like a god or beat the living soul out of you. I feel most bad for Yoongi bc he never had intentions of becoming an idol. I wish Big Hit hadn't sexualized or idolized BTS as much. I wish the whole crazy makeup, making them feel insecure about their bodies, etc., all that pressure was never placed on them. And I'm upset at the crazy armies that hated on them or made them feel inadequate. I wish their love for music and the stage didn't come with this big of a price. I think their fame has gotten to a point where they, minus a few members, are all really burnt out. It pains me to see how they've changed. This song for me, kind of describes people who exist solely for perfecting their craft and just genuinely want to be good at a lot of things. People that have a hard time connecting people to creations because for them things that are made can be perfect but people themselves cannot because if they were, then one perfect person could create all the perfect things. And its just this realization that that is accepted in the most humble way possible in this song. Ok but let’s take the time to appreciate how he was able to talk about how he felt, how he’s feeling in the inside when he couldn’t speak about it in the past because he kept it in the inside or he was afraid. I love how he was really honest in AgustD and he expresses his feelings, desires and how he’s becoming who he is.
I hope he will find someone who is loyal and understands him, who will be willing to be with him forever, walk him through thick and thin. I feel like he's mentally unstable, he's easily hurt and he's sensitive so I never think that one day i'll get married to him or date him, you know, like other fans because I know that i'm not suitable for him, I can't help him. I'm also mentally unstable , i'm also senstive, I can't even heal myself to heal him. He needs someone who is patient with bright and cheerful characteristics. I really want him to be happy and with the person he loves.

Actually Yoongi s lines it depends on wat song they are writing and it's purpose.. For rap, dissing everything u wrote is right.. But there are other songs like this PEOPLE, Song Request, So far away, that are just heart wrenching, soulful music.. Where as Yoongi s Bluebery Eyes was so romantic that the singer Max n his wife used his lines as marriage vows again..
Same goes for joon n hobi... Joons Joker was totally raw, he just spit fire.. But jis latest song Closer Or Wildflower is the just beautiful and so meaningful..
Hope s arson and More... Woah!! He went so hard with those songs... But with Equal Sign, he made a song about accpetance and had such a soft note to it with heart touching lyrics..
So honestly, we can't just categorize their lyrics into one feeling... They are versatile and it shows... They can bring out any sort of emotion.. Not just one.. They can move you into tears, they can make ur heart race, can evoke justifiefed rage in ur heart... They are everything embodied into one! 💕

This is one of my favorite tracks from Agust D, I loved it since I heard it. I have been listening to it for months and it even made the top of my most listened tracks on Spotify this year. I just decided to check the meaning of the lyrics and, as expected, I am not disappointed. I like it even more now

I love it how he says 'why so serious' and 'I'm so serious' and that you can hear him really often breathing before he is singing and rapping. For me it is so satisfying. My english is not the best and I hope you know what I mean. Love y'all

This is more than just a song with a lyrics. This is a poem. That's why BTS my one and only favs. Their lyrics are on a different level. YoonGi deserves everything and more than he already got.
For me the most important in a song is the lyrics and YoonGi has talent for it. Writing lyrics is not easy, writing poem is more difficult but he did it.
And it's still blew meg away how....how beautiful the lyrics is....
