this song is absolute genius. at the beginning, yoongi meets someone & they get on a seesaw together, on both sides being someone. they play around, going “up and down” the seesaw as mentioned in 0:17. as they repeat going up and down it’s getting more and more exhausting for both because the relationship is beginning to fail - they’ve had so many fights, etc. that both of them want to end the rs but don’t know how to. at 2:51, yoongi is left alone on the seesaw as the person he was in a relationship with decided to leave first. he’s destroyed but can now finally “walk off” the seesaw without the other person being there.
Goikl Yakna actually she's only a song producer, I think that's the reason why there is no "feat. adora" but she sometimes singing like back up for fitting the voices perfectly to the music btw. she sang on many songs with bts.. for me she's like the "hidden 8th member of bts"
Alright, I think I get the song guys : When Suga says « In the beginning, we brag about who is heavier » (1:57) he talks about how in a relationship, people tend to reply « I love you more » when the other tells them they love them. To which the first person will reply « No, I do », and this usually starts an endless thing where they keep repeating that to each other. This means that the heavier you are on the seesaw, the more you love the person that sits on the other side. At 0:47, he mentions that he « became heavier than you », basically saying that he was deeply in love while the other person wasn’t as much. 2:19, « If you don’t have feelings anymore / Being on top of this seesaw is dangerous » shows once again that the more you have feelings for the person, the heavier you get. Here the person Suga loves doesn’t have any anymore, so the seesaw is high on their end. 2:47 « Someone has to get off from here, although we can’t », if the other person gets off they may get hurt because the seesaw is too high on their end, and Suga might too as the seesaw would crash on the ground. And if Suga gets off, the other person will crash onto the ground real hard. Which obviously he doesn’t want. « Let’s try to end this and decide who will get off or not », none of them wants to get off, which means breaking up, because of the reasons stated above. 3:47 « I walk on top of this seesaw that you aren’t on » makes me think that Suga finally forgot the other person and doesn’t have feelings for them anymore. They got out of each other’s life. 3:53 « Just like how in the beginning you weren’t there » Suga was looking for love back then, he didn’t know the other person yet. 4:02 « I get off this seesaw that you aren’t on » He stops chasing love. Edit: ignore this part, apparently it’s not supposed to be « preating » but « repeating / repeated », it was apparently a typo [ One thing that I’m unsure of, is why he calls this « this preating seesaw game ». Preating is « pre-cheating », it’s when you put the feelers out, you investigate and see if someone that you’re not in a relationship with might be interested in you, which would lead to you cheating on your partner if they are. Was the person Suga loved preating on him, while distracting him with the seesaw love thing ? Or was that person playing with Suga’s feelings while they were dating someone else, in order to cheat on their partner with Suga, but they didn’t want a relationship with him whereas he was in love ? ] Anyways, the fact that Suga stopped chasing love in my theory makes me realize that it goes very well with the other theories related to the album, which state that the album’s songs go from loving other people, realizing this love might not be good for you, till learning to love yourself. I thing Seesaw is the turning point for the last state of mind.

These are such brave lyrics. Like he said when a relationship is being dragged way longer than it should people are unwilling to take the responsibility to end it but instead Yoongi is showing a higher level of maturity that can come from a place of wisdom but also exhaustion
It's so good. In the beginning he's saying that they're just arguing who is the "heavier" one and that's why the relationship never becomes balanced. In the middle he's talking about them shifting the responsibility to break away back and forth until they reached a balance, but it was not the balance they wanted. In the end, knowing that nothing's working out anymore, they both get off the seesaw. The lyrics are so wonderful. I appreciate artists who can create such profound messages from a simple word.

at the beginning, yoongi meets someone & they get on a seesaw together, on both sides being someone. they play around, going “up and down” the seesaw as mentioned in 0:17.
as they repeat going up and down it’s getting more and more exhausting for both because the relationship is beginning to fail - they’ve had so many fights, etc. that both of them want to end the rs but don’t know how to.
at 2:51, yoongi is left alone on the seesaw as the person he was in a relationship with decided to leave first. he’s destroyed but can now finally “walk off” the seesaw without the other person being there.

Alright, I think I get the song guys :
When Suga says « In the beginning, we brag about who is heavier » (1:57) he talks about how in a relationship, people tend to reply « I love you more » when the other tells them they love them. To which the first person will reply « No, I do », and this usually starts an endless thing where they keep repeating that to each other.
This means that the heavier you are on the seesaw, the more you love the person that sits on the other side.
At 0:47, he mentions that he « became heavier than you », basically saying that he was deeply in love while the other person wasn’t as much.
2:19, « If you don’t have feelings anymore / Being on top of this seesaw is dangerous » shows once again that the more you have feelings for the person, the heavier you get. Here the person Suga loves doesn’t have any anymore, so the seesaw is high on their end.
2:47 « Someone has to get off from here, although we can’t », if the other person gets off they may get hurt because the seesaw is too high on their end, and Suga might too as the seesaw would crash on the ground. And if Suga gets off, the other person will crash onto the ground real hard. Which obviously he doesn’t want.
« Let’s try to end this and decide who will get off or not », none of them wants to get off, which means breaking up, because of the reasons stated above.
3:47 « I walk on top of this seesaw that you aren’t on » makes me think that Suga finally forgot the other person and doesn’t have feelings for them anymore. They got out of each other’s life.
3:53 « Just like how in the beginning you weren’t there » Suga was looking for love back then, he didn’t know the other person yet.
4:02 « I get off this seesaw that you aren’t on » He stops chasing love.
Edit: ignore this part, apparently it’s not supposed to be « preating » but « repeating / repeated », it was apparently a typo
[ One thing that I’m unsure of, is why he calls this « this preating seesaw game ». Preating is « pre-cheating », it’s when you put the feelers out, you investigate and see if someone that you’re not in a relationship with might be interested in you, which would lead to you cheating on your partner if they are. Was the person Suga loved preating on him, while distracting him with the seesaw love thing ? Or was that person playing with Suga’s feelings while they were dating someone else, in order to cheat on their partner with Suga, but they didn’t want a relationship with him whereas he was in love ? ]
Anyways, the fact that Suga stopped chasing love in my theory makes me realize that it goes very well with the other theories related to the album, which state that the album’s songs go from loving other people, realizing this love might not be good for you, till learning to love yourself. I thing Seesaw is the turning point for the last state of mind.
