Thank you for the simple tutorial. It looks great! For those asking about the Kanekalon hair, I have found that when I have used it for a crochet style, it is easier to manipulate and does not matte0 and tangle like the preset hair that we normally use for crochets. I find that the Kanekalon is easier to work with. While I like the crochet hair with the waves and curls, they begin to look dry and matte and shed very quickly. With the Kanekalon hair, all you have to do is take a warm blow dryer, not too hot and not too close and run it along the hair and it will straighten it out. When I had Kanekalon crochets, it did not matte up. At least I don't recall it matting up.
Kanekalon hair has harmful chemicals in it, but can be removed with apple cider vinegar an warm water. Do you use any special techniques to remove the chemicals?
I love the way you did the Kanekalon hair without braiding your hair. I've been looking for a fast no hassle crochet install that wont take long and still look natural. Thank you!
Niki N How long does your hair usually last with regular braiding hair? I always think it couldn't last long. But now that I think about it when I was a kid I had a similar style done once with regular braiding hair. Everyone thought it was my natural hair and it lasted pretty long.
Mahogany Closet regular kanekalon braiding hair lasts about a week if it's straight but 2-3 if curly. Afri naptural is the best I've used, lasted 3 weeks straight without much care and then I curled it. Might be different for everyone depending on hair care
I tried this and I would recommend just finding someone to cornrow your hair. The take down process is so long and damaging. Tying hundreds of knots in you hair is not a protective style and it's a nightmare to take out.
@@toyarj37 you cut if off but the knots still remain on your hair, and you can't risk cutting the knots cos that would be way too close to your natural hair and you can cut that. That's what makes it a nightmare to take out
Needle comb^^ takedown for any intricate braided hair style takes 2+ hours! Nothing new, just something that takes practice :) and the knots shouldn’t be pulled so tight to the point that your damaging your own hair…. If so your probably doing them incorrectly and should get your hair done by someone who has the time and patience to properly show you how to do it step by step
This is the BEST video I have seen so far regarding installing straight hair. I don't know how to cornrow,do this is perfect until I learn how to. Your style is suoer neat. It looks AMAZING curly as well!😍
If you gonna do a tutorial, do it thoroughly....you left us hanging on the front part section of the head. How did you install the hair in the front section....?😕
LaTonya Milton yes I agree and I think she should've zoomed in on that hair line in the front and back I want to make sure the knots aren't showing ya know
I love the straight look. Thanks for this video because I be so tired when I get home from work and I never have enough time to do my hair anymore. Im am definitely going to do this tonight.
Great I love it!!! I can't do cornrows and this is my first time doing this and I think I can do it now thanks girl I will definitely be checking out more of your videos I'm an aspiring makeup artist in the ATL and have so much more to learn being here I'm a Pcb beach girl thanks for a great video
Ari and Ela have a similar tutorial on their channel. Glad this is the new wave b/c I hate keeping hairstyles more than a week or so and all of those braids for crocheting was a waste of time for me. This is really cute.
Thanks Sadora for sharing the Crochet version without having to cornrow the hair. I like the bulkier hair vs. the small "Take Ya Forever" to add a full head of hair style. I'm going to buy me the hair and DO IT MYSELF...thanks to you for showing just how simple it is to do.
I have done this style before and I have gotten a lot of compliment on my hair however it is so very EASY I only tried the curly look. You look fabulous maybe I'll try the straight look.
Not sure how I got here. You did a great job! I’m always willing to compliment in lieu of tearing down another woman. Much love 💕You have gorgeous features by the way.
Wow I like this. Why are you tempting me to wear weave? 😂. This hairstyles will cost me less than $20. I just might try this. Low manipulation ,low price hair, and a lil moouse. I LOVE IT
Sadora - very clever idea. On a positive level. Please go into more detail about the front of the hair and how you crochet this into your hair, this I would love you to do, because I can't braid to save my life! Thanks for taking the time put this up on TH-cam. I hope you go into modelling and or acting, because you are VERY pretty!. Well done girl. Best wishes . T J 🙋🏽🙂
@@nancyhissendj5865 just cut close to the knot and very gently tug it out it might take longer than 10 secs but it's better than leaving it or oulling your hair out.
I used this method with curlly hair. Lasted two weeks which i liked. It does get tangled if you dont brush it and re flat iron. But a lil reviving and you can make it three weeks. Sad part you cant wash your hair which made me feel gross so after two weeks i was done. Now im reinstalling with new straight hair
I love the curly look....both are very nice. love your videos....I didn't know crocheting was so easy to do. I can't wait for your next hair challenge. God bless have a beautiful day :)
Chocolice can I try to rephrase your question? You want to know if the coarse synthetic hair breaks your natural hair because it's tightly wrapped around your naturalhair? Similar to wearing a rubber band around your natural hair? I was curious too 😊
NicNacAttack yeah exactly thanks!! Usually when I do crochet and that my cornrows are not tight enough, I have the impression that by brushing the synthetic hair and moving it around it pulls my real hair and edges, as there is no strong base. So I always thought that by not doing real cornrows it can pull the hair. Hope it is clear.

To everyone that is asking, it is just regular kanekalon hair guys it doesn't matter the brand. It's at any local bss
You were able to flat iron regular kanekalon hair?
Mahogany Closet I was wondering on the brand because that's the texture I've been looking for I always use kanekalon

OMG you did a very good job I've never seen that done before with three pigtails. The curly hair is also the bomb I love the invisible hair knots

I love it!! I love the way you did it! I'm horrible at cornrows and my flat twists are always too loose. Can't wait to try it out!

I wish I could've see how you did the section around the part
Yeah I felt like that’s the most important part here
Can you post a video on how to remove the crochet, especially since you double knotted it and you told us to be careful when removing it. Thanks.

You can put heat to it?
That looks so good I couldn’t even tell if it was your real hair
Very nice. How long will this last? What happens if your ponytails underneath unravel? Will it ruin the style?
Love the curly look!
She’s so pretty
Simply beautiful, I like the straight look but they are both amazing.

Love this, gives you options without the cornrows
People are so rude in these comments. I loved this style and you made the video short and sweet. Gonna try this nxt. Thank u
I love this tutorial! Are you able to put this in a ponytail
This cute! Gon' try this on my daughter. Thanks for his tutorial.
Girl I love thissss!!!!
This is beautiful and looks totally natural. I'm curious as to how it behaves though. Does it stiffen and mat at the ends, or does the hair move?
Very nice! Both curly and straight looks very nice on you💁💃😜
How do you keep the crochet hair from sliding away from the part?
I love the curly look....both are very nice. love your videos....I didn't know crocheting was so easy to do. I can't wait for your next hair challenge. God bless have a beautiful day :)

Do you have any photos of the progress of your edges as a result of having used the oil?
Exactly what I was wondering. All these hair oil ads but no edges. Not exactly a ringing endorsement.
Im so doing this on the weekend thanks it's fabulous!!!
I really need to see you style the hair if possible. I love everything you do you are very helpful. Thank you.
