I’m a Pathan as well and my cousin Fatemah went through this she had an alternative ending but it was just as hilarious to watch from the sidelines. This brings back memories.

I never understood the pathan, punjabi, sindhi, baloochi differences.
My parents are considered punjabi and their parents are from kashmir.
It’s like one or two generations perhaps. I wasn’t raised on these differences thankfully.
But I can understand them and the tension.
But we all are Muslim.
