Tbf, Player 1 shouldve gone after Kazalik instead of the Morophon, yeah dragons would hit the board faster but theyre easier to deal with than Eldrazi when left unchecked

Yes, this was actually a personal deck that I brought in (it was a little outclassed lol). I really liked the deck, though I've since taken it apart to make room for other decks. We'll see if Duskmourn has curses - might make me break her out of retirement 😅

Great video Jason. You may not remember but me (Dave) and my friend Kevin played in the competetive pod at Boardlandia with you, Brent, and Matt a couple months ago. I was the guy playing Oloro and you were playing Kinnan. When we were playing you looked so familar but I couldn't put my finger on it, then I later realized I was subscribed to your youtbue channel when one of your videos showed up in my feed. Hopefully see you at the shop again sometime, looking forward to more videos.

Eldrazi are so sweaty and Kozilek in particular warped the game(pun intended). Would have been nice to see the other decks get some breathing room.
Stay mad? It's actually a very VERY easy deck to hate out. 1 single stony silence and the deck is basically out of the game. Also, the dockside play just didn't have the kind of impact to force the tempo in that players favor. Regardless, Null rod, stony silence, Collector Ouphe, shit tons of red spells.....hating out artifacts is just too easy these days in every color and it falls on you to not build your deck without interaction and go "why did this fair ramp deck that gave up every color just bomb me out?".
@@bobby45825 Agreed. I personally am not a fan of the eldrazi and think they jsut suck the fun out of the game. Its a deck that i will not fight one on one , due to them sucking the fun out of the game with the ability that makes you sac permanents, as petty as it might sound. Just gone against to many Eldrazi decks that are made to ramp them out asap and then be attacked and lose all my permanents to that ability. Will admit its also a deck that I target asap in a four man to try and kill so the games fun.
@aclevername7613 seems weird honestly. My eldrazi deck is easily my weakest deck, and that's with the strongest possible options in the deck.
Now, that might change if wizards keeps shitting out support for them like the new commander legends pre con.
@@bobby45825 My experience with eldrazi decks 9 times out of 10 is they drop the eldrazi wicked early and i just lose the ability to do anything as I lose all my stuff to their effect.
I will be frank watching the game I was rooting against the eldrazi deck. Just have a disdain for eldrazi immensely. One of the few decks I would not verse one on one , due to just sucking the fun out of the game for me, is a eldrazi deck. Gone against far to many broken ones. ^^;
So for kozilek to counter a spell what what if the spell your trying to counter is 3 cmc but you try to use a 6 cmc would it resolve??
Yeah that wouldn't work, you would need to discard a 3 cmc card to be able to counter the spell.

For me as a new player, slowing down the game play would help or somehow showing the cards text. Im so new that i dont know the card when you guys tell what cards your playing.
