My opinion for my Jawa 42, seat is not comfortable for long drive -more than 300 km in one day, mud issue in rainy season, good break control, easy to handle, smooth gear shift, 32 to 35 km/lit before first service, over all marks 7/10.from Pune, Maharashtra.

Nice of you to get another Jawa 42 owner to talk about it, buddy. More impressive was the "cameo" by the gentleman with the RE Classic. The "rating" towards the end was really useful. Over all, my "rating" for this video is 9 / 10 ... 1 point less because (I felt) it was too short! Just kidding - 10/10! Great video! 👍😁

Hi Dev nice to see you back in India. The Jawa guys should have given all the accessories with the bike like other bikes give ,,, on this point i think the company walle are cheating us . The accessories are costing 5000 rupees.
Any information of late deliveries from your dealership. Please find out the reason. I enquired my dealer, they said till now 2 classics were sold.
I booked Jawa on 20 Nov. It's approximately 8 months. Still not delivered. We can get any car within this period.
No information so far , I have traveled to many cities in the last 2-3 months , I have not seen a single Jawa on road in Mumbai, jabalpur, bhubaneshwar, Indore
Srijith Jorigala . Not seen a single Jawa in Kolkata also, I went to the showroom to book a Jawa 42 but they told me that I have to wait for 8 to 10 months, so I decided not to buy. Too much waiting time, itna toh swift diesel ka bhi nahi tha back in 2008😀
Aj Maine jawa ki test ride le m soch rha hu apni classic bech du kyoki silencer pe to chalan hora or Maine sirf dug dug k liye bullet liya tha test ride le pyar ho gya muje jawa se

Hi Footloose ! First of all wishes for your next trip to Singapore! That means we will also have a journey with you through your videos...
It was wonderful to watch you both sitting with 42 machines and getting the experiences.
I have a highlight on improvements, as of now two points, pls suggest me abt my points. Major change I look forward abt the radiator cap which doesn’t not provided with a lock system suppose to have one to avoid any future mischief by others. Another thing would be the gear shift lever can be with extended rear piece which will help us to shift gears easily instead accessing from bottom while wearing shoes especially formal.
Footloose if you can take it up to Jawa people then we can have some improvement if you also think these points would be valid.

It should not have vibrations till 120 kmph atleast.
Seems tall guys may have to ride alone as no space left for pillion.

bhai, my wife booked this boke on 24th December 2018 and its august .. really don't know if it's worth waiting more than 9 months for this bike... or we can book a BMW bike which is women friendly as well. in Bangalore they have not started delivery of Dual channel ABS

I just buy jawa 42... Ground clearance is very low.. it touched on bumper.. so i have to remove double stand for that
Bhai, the video is pretty good as usual. Spontaneous, candid yet informative. I am making up my mind to book the 42, have been to Northern Jawa twice now (former agency for Kinetic/Mahindra). But I felt some issue with its gear shifting. Could be because the test ride vehicle hasnt been serviced at all. Do you have any insights to share after real world usage? And is it worth spending my savings on this good looking machine. Just asking.
I have no problem with gear shifting. I think because demo bike is poorly maintained and sab uspe haath saaf karte he maybe because of that. Otherwise gear shifting is very smooth.

Since jawa has mojo engine in a jawa retro body so u r bound to confuse what it is sports or retro bike.....RE has traditional long rev range engine, u get the retro RE feel !
Re has the worst engines except 650 twins and Himalayan
If so vry hard to understand why people buy RE.....may be for the feel of it which no other bike replicates of it !

Bro compare 350x with Jawa42.... But one thing ill challenge you will feel more comfort and you feel good better in 350x ....i ride both 42 and 350x

I just hate RE but now I have an issue with the height of this bike. My height is 5'11 and my weight is 70 and I have seen in this video that a guy with the same height as me is looking too heavy. And there is no much space left behind for another person to sit. Suggest me if you have any other option.

I'm not happy with jawa accessories it's too costly, with All accessories it finally came in 2.30 L in Thane And over all its good but pillow foot rest or female foot rest is of very low quality and I wish shock exhaust is not have good sound company to old one they should change something 👍

Jawa makers should keep in mind about the legacy of bullet then design it a accordingly...Needs little improvement in sitting comfort and silencer height...And it can easily vanish royal Enfield from market...
