Doubt: In the sentence "I attended the meeting", the part "the meeting" is direct object ? OR indirect object ? PLEASE REPLY ME SIR.

I attended the meeting.
Here the part 'the meeting' is a Direct Object.
(Direct Object answers the question 'What'. On the other hand, Indirect Object answers 'Whom'. )
