"Which echoes belong" ... one of the coolest lyrics ever ... I don't know about you guys, but so much of the discussion in my head revolves around whether the discussion is legit or not ...
Agreed -- the fact that he's simultaneously playing drumset AND bells is quite a thing. Also, Jeff was a LOT less beefy 11 years ago. Not that I should talk ...
Imagine having that at your arms reach for 10 years. He was me and my buddies drum teacher growing up. He's the fucking man. Deserves every bit of successes he has.
Sometimes when i look at the comments on wikipedia I'm reminded that people with taste are freaks. Here is an excellent example. This song is some hip shizzat, but it's gettin no restectpa. Gives me the tardy gits, it does.
@@flowerdoodle2438 i find it so repetitive and slightly dull. To each his own i guess... my favourite tracks are I'm trying to break your heart (mostly for Glenn's drumming), Jesus etc. and Ashes of American Flags. But a lot of my favourite Wilco tunes are on other records
phototristan I'm pretty sure jeff knows that, and any actual wilco fan. Besides, this was before the album came out...looks like he just shortened the name
@@bernardshakey2609 Jeff has been playing this song since 1999 and it was called Kamera then. He's just taking some artistic license with the name at this show, which he can do after all it's his song.
Interesting to hear his live version minus the lower octave.
I sing the low octave and my chick bass player sings the high. Its swell

I get to see them live in 38 days for the first time. This band has been a huge part of my life. I'm excited!
man this drummer is good
they are SUCH A GREAT BAND!!!!
I love this way one octave upper! Brings a whole new tone to the song...
I think he's just singing the harmony part. Listen to it on the album :-)
@@PeterBondeVillain He is, but the original demo version was that high octave and a much more rocking, "Summertheeth" vibe to the arrangement.
A brilliant pop song. Yankee foxtrot is a classic
If I was a drummer I'd just go home after watching Glenn play

I'm a drummer, and I've gone home after seeing Glenn play every time.
Why is Wilco so amazing? Nils Cline is my dream guitarist. Look up Impossible Germany if you're interested. Wow. Best guitar solo.
Unlikely Japan
Nils is amazing!
whoa. jeff sings in a much higher pitch live
He's just singing the octave. It's there on the record, too, doubled with the lower octave, which is more forward in the mix
He sings pretty much however he wants. Very supple voice, from smooth to ragged, quiet to hoarse screaming, low, high, you name it
Hi... Yeah, while you're playing the drums, I'm gonna need you to go ahead and play the Xylophone too.
"Meesundahstood!, Meesundahstood!"
I really laughed at that haha
And no it's not okay...
singlest biggest american rock band in history
🐐
Wilco Rules !!!
this song make me wanna be a journalist so muchh....even im just going to war
Bassist looks like Ted Cruz
It's awesome when you know him too. :)
Actually tweedy decides what to call his song
hellllo, WNYC/NPR listeners. :)

A lot of bass and not enough on the acoustic guitar. Still sounds good though.
Not loving the keyboard sound
Should have just played a Farfisa
The entire song is one of several underwhelming tracks on YHF imho
@@al1976-v7m Really? It’s my fav song off Yankee
