Also took a 2 year break and now run into at least 1 cheater a day even in quick play, it's almost as bad as in y1s1 when there was no anticheat... and yea ranked 2.0 is just plain bad, ranks mean nothing at this point and your real rank is the hidden mmr which you can't see...
I find it hard to believe a large company like ubisoft can't stay ahead of the cheats - i think they like cheaters as they have to keep buying more copies of the game everytime they get cought

I've caught the closeted cheaters this session from quick play, to standard to ranked. It's to the point I just report people period no questions asked. I just don't care, so people getting reported.
So it's very simple to notice. This is when the guns have no recoil. Or very very little recoil, Or a perfect headshot every time. They can adjust these settings as they go I played against a cheater. It's insanely noticable if u play enough.
The only true solution to beat cheaters is for THEM to stop freaking cheating. I seriously believe that whoever cheats in Siege is an extremely sad and antisocial individual, who had terrible parenting, their childhood was miserable, and they never got punished for doing wrong things, ever in their lives. Well established individuals would never cheat in a game. I mean, winning FAIRLY is literally the dopamine hit R6S gives, it's the whole goddamn concept. Winning by cheating is so empty sounding. If you're reading this and you cheat, you're a literal loser. Literal, because you have SO much skill issue that you resort to cheats to cover it up. It's nothing but a bandaid on your shitty skills. Nobody who plays this game well would cheat, because they simply don't need to. I feel sad for whoever feels the need of cheating, I seriously think they need psychiatric help.

Just wanted to give some more context as to why their anticheat doesn't do anything and also why it won't get better for a long time. The engine that R6 runs on is old and older engines have more exploits. Also DMA devices with fusers or display rerouters makes it nearly impossible to detect (sometimes it can be detected; gets complicated). You could have the same thing Valorant has and it still wouldn't get better. The solution is something that needs to be newly developed, such as a possible machine learning based anticheat but before then cheaters are simply able to have free reign. This is a simplified explanation, just trying to let ppl know a more tech side of it. My personal theory as to why there's so many new cheaters is that people are switching from console to PC, who probably ximmed, are getting slammed. But now they have access to using cheats. Also think that how prevalent cheats have gotten in CS2 plays a role. People just migrated from cheating in CS2 to cheating in R6 because they're reliant and they're similar(ish) games so they have a similar audience. TL;DR: Anticheat needs a core change in all games not just R6. New engines and updates can only do so much.
they should have a team who is going to check stats from champs or maybe filter players with high kd and win rate,there is no way somebody can have 15.0 kd and 90%win rate with more then 50 games that guy is 99% cheating or getting boost,and then they just check their replays and see what they have
They have a machine learning AI, should probably implement a system that detects suspicious players, puts them in a timeout where theyre locked from ranked and then has someone review it and decide if they should get banned or not and implement an optional text system in reports and more ban options (smurfing cuz its usually paired with boosters or outright cheaters)

Anything with high play-low emerald and higher is utterly unplayable, it's either blatant or closet cheaters, boosters or current disconnect exploit abusers, for over 20 games in at least 8 of them I had cheater, and got mmr rollback only once, this is bullshit what is happening to this game
They need to start introducing rollback for consoles if someone on the other team gets mousetrapped at any point within 5 games of their game with you. The stuff like Strike Pack and Cronus, whatever, as long as you're not using cronus as a bootleg xim, it's still cheating, but at least you're aiming with a controller. People say oh it's a skill issue... no it's not, that's why they're using MnK on console because they'd suck on PC and because they suck with a controller. Making micro adjustments or flicks with a mouse is biomechanically easier than with a controller. It's a dogshit system they have in place. After someone gets caught ximming 3 times, just ban them.
im convinced that the dev team probably cheats too, its the same with every game that i've played: ARK, Destiny 2, COD, and r6. The game itself isnt fun anymore, the only way you could have fun is cheating. Shame of a game that cant even go against cheating softwares
The future of anticheat might lie on shadow gameplay. Our pc being merely the medium for display and input. Everything else being treated on dev servers. Not sure about this being a good thing. It’s gonna be expensive for sure anyway. 😅 But I can’t figure any other way out.
Agreed. With the correct hardware/firmware you can mimic any input and change any display. The answer isnt a typical CPU reader anticheat, it needs to be new.

Unfortunately it’s unlikely we are going to get a siege 2 any time soon as in year 8 they said they would keep updating the r6 we have right now for 10 more years. But who knows plans change.
I am not saying it’s good, but i have some friends who cheats and trust me ubisoft is Making full and lite klar useless for at least a moth After every update, but yeah After this they play around 300 Matches with fullklar (Rage cheating) before getting banned
And (its still a problem, I repeat cheating is bad) but the communauty is exagereting, in champ you go against a cheater every 10 or 15 games in a normal day
