    This one just blew me away and is my favourite talk (so far) from the wonderful Ajahn Brahmali. He takes ancient Pali suttas and translates them into lessons that are understandable, relevant and even entertaining. Thank you, Ajahn Brahmali!

    Thank you so much for choosing this in Newyear Dharma’s talk to remind lay people the dangers of cravings For number one question there is no goal in practice Buddhism because when you have a goal you might putting yourself in craving mode For number 3 questions , she doesn’t see kindness in the Buddha words because he is teaching his students how to become Abraham, “Clean up these monks “ that Ajahn words What is the kind way to say God is not exist? It’s in the sutra

    Ajahn Bramali told the story of a woman who was horrified at the prospect of rebirth. After hearing all about the dissatisfaction and dukkha of this earthly realm, who would yearn for rebirth? Or, is it a more auspicious deva-style rebirth that we might hope for?

    • @holdenakridge
      @holdenakridge ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You're intuition regarding, why someone would ever want to be reborn, with regards to the inherent suffering we all experience, is spot on. To my knowledge, an attempt to ultimately cease and exit our unfortunate cycle of rebirth, should always be at the forefront of ones search when walking down the Buddhist path.
      I'm not sure if (a) this is what you were referring to or asking about OR (b) if you were already aware and were simply commenting on the notion of rebirth

    • @tuyendo7409
      @tuyendo7409 ปีที่แล้ว

      Your expression do make me wonder is that yourself? By the way if you believe inGod there is no business of believe in rebirth End the story

    • @aurelienyonrac
      @aurelienyonrac ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's not like that.
      There is no "you" there is no "me"
      There is no self.
      There is no death either.
      So as you can see, No rebirth.
      Just awareness, which is a doing and a being.
      And of course there is birth and death and rebirth and the suffering.
      But what is true to you?

    • @aurelienyonrac
      @aurelienyonrac ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tuyendo7409 and yet many emotions rebirth in you. Many thoughts too. Independently of belief in god or not. You have seen it.
      Goof for you to discern that you are non of it. " In this world but not of it."
      You have taken you thoughts captive. Instead of being captivated by your thoughts

      @@aurelienyonrac I am not that complicated like you though, my point is you should not sneak in here to express your views about rebirth when REBIRTH is one of the centrist of Buddhism Keep it for your self
