Boy, fighting choreography in MCU really improved since 2012.
Those are less noticeable. But hand to hand fights in Avengers (Cap vs Loki and Thor vs Loki) look so ridiculous and low-skill compared to how much strength and finesse all three characters show in later movies.

Well, Loki brought the mind stone there, on behalf on Thanos... and as the tears during the convergence only did transport between realms, not to another place on the same world (at least not that we know of) it is most likely that the reality stone (aether) wasn't on earth before Jane brought it with her (especially seeing how keen the Asgardians, who locked the aether away seemed on keeping the gems appart, and seeing that the germans found out about the tesseract through norse litterature, I'm pretty sure Odin knew it was on earth). so technically, only the space stone was on earth when Loki was sent to collect it ;S

During Loki's attack on earth the three would have been on earth. The mind stone and space stone were with Loki and the Time stone was collecting dust for years with the ancient one.
The pained look on thor's face when he removes the knife not out of pain but out of sadness that his brother would betray him like that is priceless

@@daisymagnus306 I got that moment as Loki talking about his own self-delusion (aka he is lying to himself about everything). I don't dismiss the Mind Stone bits. He didn't say anything about what happened in his time in exile. In fact, he barely talked about his life.
To be honest, the Loki series was poorly written, especially the way they characterized Loki. The show was mostly an excuse to introduce Kang, Sylvie, the TVA and the Multiverse.
Hopefully, season 2 will have better writers and actually be about Loki.
loki was absolutely under the control of the mind stone. that's why his eyes are blue. same as Clint when he was being controlled. loki has green eyes. loki wanted to rule but the mind stone made him a bit psycho about it.

The way Thor looks at Loki when he says, "No, we can, together" is just so beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. He may be willing to fight Loki for the sake of earth, but deep down he just wants his little brother back.
I really hope this frase to be a call back with loki telling it to thor 😢
I think that I still like the theory he was under the influence of the Scepter (Mind Stone) during most of the events of this movie. Loki himself was being manipulated by Thanos to do all of this. In this scene he breaks free of the control for just a moment when he is looking around genuinely appearing remorseful (and not in a 'haha...I'm Loki and I'm just tricking you' way). I think there's a reason why the Mind Stone has played the largest role in all of the MCU. It's affected so many people; Hawk Eye, Tony, Loki, Selvig, Scarlet Witch, Ultron, Hulk, and Thor.

Hiddleston replied "yeah sure it will look totally awesome" Hemsworth apologized to Tom H., and even Hiddleston said that of course he forgave him bc it was all his idea to begin with.. Actors do it very often tho, but I don't think that real punch they put it on screen.. @@cprw10 stage fighting looks awesome when the two actors work in sync to make it look realistic but that helmet on his head would've made it harder for Tom to react well to the punches as I'd imagine they were quite heavy so actually punching him would've made it look real
I think the best part in Avengers assemble was that in some moments it felt like a captain america movie, sometimes like a thor movie and sometimes an iron man movie! On this part it felt really like a sequel to Thor 2011.

But they didn’t want anyone to notice in order to make him seem worse than he actually was.
His eyes aren't fully blue, because he wasn't completely under control. He was being influenced by the scepter which amplified his rage more than it otherwise would've been, as we can see in this scene.
Wouldn't surprise me if Thanos tapped him with the mind stone like Loki does with Clint and Selvig.

This scene always hurts in a way, because even though Thor is prepared to fight Loki and put an end to the madness happening in New York once and for all, he is still hopeful that his brother isn't completely gone, they used to play together, they used to do get help, they used to do get help, and that's all he wanted, was his brother back, that's why he says "we can, together"
He grew up with a emotionally neglectful parent that held his sibling at a higher regard than him making him feel unworthy. it filled him up with years of pent up hate and resentment that turned into rage when he found out not only was he cast aside he wasn't even Odins blood son which he hid from him, that's why I like Loki I see a lot of myself in him and I understand why he is the way he is it's sad that the only person that truly believed in him was Frigga

Loki is the best developed character ever in MCU
What makes the fight awesome is that the actors are really hitting each other. Tom told Chris to not hold back at all and in one scene in which Tom is hit and barrels over holding his stomach is from Chris hitting his to which Chris looks to the crew and says 'he did tell me to hit him' as Chris was worried that he had hurt Tom even through the armor.

When Loki escaped during avengers 1, he became a new Loki in a new timeline he just created. Sacred Timeline’s Loki is still in custody.

Watching this makes me mad. Not because of anything to do with this film, it and it’s actors are amazing. But the new Loki show just makes him look so physically weak, when he can tank some bullets, fist fight Thor, catch arrows, and take a beating from the hulk within the span of just a few minutes
I have exactly the same problem. I loved the series, but Loki's power levels are sooo inconsistent. In the series, he has the strength of a normal human. And here, he has strength levels more on par with Asgardians (which is how it should be!).
but the show showcase more on the story than the action so its not a big deal

@@redpepper28 Character inconsistencies are synonymous with inconsistencies within the storytelling structure. It's weak writing when characters are written differently to facilitate plot convenience - regardless of whether the story is character driven or not.

Im pretty sure at that rate, Loki would've killed Cap there. He literally had no chance. And you can't even say this is a younger and weaker Captain America because in Endgame he fought the Endgame version of Cap to a standstill.

Ikr, I recently watched Godzilla vs Kong on iMax in Theaters, and I couldnt help but see how weird the Cgi looked at times. Bought it on Blu Ray recently to watch it at home, and upon rewatching, it somehow looked more realistic! Kinda weird huh
To think Thor was always holding back when fighting Loki, always holding out hope that the little brother he grew up with was still in there. If Thor had fought Loki and gone all out, these fights would be minute-long massacres.

The 60fps completely ruins movie scenes and this is one of the more agregious ones that I've come across recently. It makes the CGI and green screen looks so much more worse because films are not meant to be taken from 24fps and put into 60fps.

He still wouldn't stop it even if he could. Loki wanted this invasion. Loki was literally smiling everytime the chaos he did on New York was brought up in Thor 2. Loki wasn't outright being controlled, his anger and desire for power was just being amplified by the Mind Stone
