Thanks för a well done video. And there was no anoying background music...Thank you for that...I have owned Ford Focus almost since 20 years back, the one now is from 2016, it looks like the same brake system today.
Thanks for an excellent tutorial. Well done and much appreciated!
this truly was helpfull video! watched this before started doing the brakes, had to also peep few things here and there! thank you so much!
Great video and details. Changing my brakes next weekend and feel much more confident after watching.
this was very helpfull. Altough i have a mk4 focus, everything was exacly the same, might even be the same parts
Nice video 👍🏼
What’s the torque value of those rear bracket 13mm bolts?
I have a 2019 Camaro Lt1, has E-Brakes...Ill soon need to replace rear pads, by any chance do you have a video on how to retract brake pistons
Sorry I do not have a video on that yet. But here is a good write up on how to www.paulstravelpictures.com/2016-2021-Chevrolet-Camaro-Rear-Brake-Pads-Replacement-Guide/
I'm doing my rear ones tomorrow, this was very helpfull, I need to remember the cap on the reservoir. Have you got any tips on a sticky e brake spring? the one on the caliper? mine keeps sticking and not releasing the e brake.
I would just inspect the cable and I don’t think they sell just the spring separately I think you’d have to buy a whole new caliper.
@BLUECOLLARGARAGE I did, and the spring is just fine. My problem is the wire. It's sized. I managed to lube just a little, but i think i need to change, i guess.
Probably need to put it into matinanance mode.
Great video. Perfect demonstration and filmed beautifully. Well done. Liked and subscribed 😀😀😀
A c clamp and a brake pad should be good enough also to push the cylinder?
Yep c clamp works perfectly fine
In rear brakes, you have to rotate the piston or you can push it like in front?
Hello, right now I'm doing my rear and I can not get the back right side piston to go in. Any help would be appreciated. Ty
Awesome video
Thanks!
me parece que ese focus estubo en una inundacion?
I did my buddy's focus and he did not have that caliper .
I had to rent a specialty unit to screw it down in .
First I had to put his computer into a maintenance mode
This was a 2012 so ford must have went with that caliper setup on the later models.
