When you think about it, they were together so many, many, many hours, days, night and YEARS! They had to be so close I'm sure and so connected even when they were not together. This was a huge shock to all of Fleetwood Mac and the fans! God bless you Christine. We LOVE you! On a side note, I met Stevie, many times but Christine only once! In 1980, she walked out of the former Rosemont Horizon to her limo and I called to her AND Dennis Wilson...asking her at 20 years old to sign my program. She waved me over and security let me and my friend go over to her. She was sooo sweet. I can still see those sparkling eyes! I thanks her and I vividly remember what Dennis said to me...."Isn't she the best"? I said, "yes she is" of course.

i had a moment with this song 4 or 5 years ago. i ended up on the other side of town where i grew up and havent been in years, i was running an errand when i happened to be driving just a few blocks from this tiny little house i lived in with my father from around the 5th to 7th grade back in the early 80s. so i turned and drove down the street i use to play on with my friends and i pulled across the street and just sort of parked there looking at this little house, we didnt live there for a very long amount of time but this is the house where i went from being a child to being a teenager, this is the house where i went through puberty, this is the last house we lived in before my father started getting really sick. and all these memories are coming back to me and these visions of a young me standing there on the porch so innocent and full of dreams and i started getting emotional seeing the specters of myself running through the yard with my friends, and right at that moment of all the songs in the world Landslide came on the radio and i had an absolute breakdown and i just sat there crying. i can not even imagine what Stevie must have been feeling, singing this song and thinking about the friend that she had sang this song onstage with hundreds of times over decades and all around the world. Rest Peacefully Christine, you already had the voice of an Angel.

The break-up with Lindsey, the loss of her lover Tom Petty, and now losing her best friend, confidant, and "big sister" Christine. When she put her head down at the end it was obvious that she was crying too much to finish the song. I had to cry too both for her loss and the loss of Christine for all of us. Never have I been so devastated with a celebrity's passing. Watching this video, I teared up... right here in the public library. Poor Stevie. The pain in her face is so apparent.... until the ending of the song, where her devastation was clearly revealed. Christine was so special to SO MANY people. I certainly hope she is looking down at all of us still mourning her passing. I can't celebrate her life yet. It was too short. I can only mourn along with all the others. RIP, dear Christine... It's still so fresh and so difficult to comprehend that she's no longer her on earth with us. She was my favorite member of my favorite band and one of my all-time favorite artists of all time. This made me almost sick to my stomach with grief. We do get emotionally deeply attached to our icons, they carry us through life, and when they leave us it is pretty shattering.
I completely understand. I just started crying. I couldn't help it. I have been grieving and crying off and on since Christine died. I'm absolutely heartbroken. So, I can't even begin to comprehend the heartbreak and devastating loss that Stevie is going through, losing her best friend and sister. 😢💔

I have loved FM for over 40 years since I was 12 years old, and I have never seen Stevie like this, and rightfully so. This is a next level grief that will never leave her.

I was there with my nieces last night. This tugged at my heart strings. Stevie put on a FANTASTIC show.
This is the first time I've seen Stevie sing and forget she's in front of an audience.
I was there with my daughter and I've never been so touched at a concert than I was at this moment. There literally wasn't a dry eye in the house.

I'm there with you. I'm devastated by Christine McVie's passing. I had to pause the video a couple of times because it was just too hard to get through. Seeing the pain and heartbreak in Stevie's eyes and her breaking down is almost too much to bear. It truly truly tore me up inside. 😪💔

Literally there was a rush on the ladies bathroom to grab something to wipe our tears en masses. That was one of her encore songs, her last but equally as moving was her absolutely lovely tribute to Tom Petty and such a tribute to her history with both of them.❤❤❤

Unless you've lost a best friend you can't know the depth of overwhelm. Your identity changes. You suffer intense anxiety. The world moves on happily while you feel completely disassociated. But, with time you discover that they are still your best friend, and the full extent of the love will slowly blossom and overtake the grief

That is truly a treasure and it does show just how close they really were.

It's crazy how down hill music has gotten. A LOT of music made today won't even be a classic in 10 years. You can seriously tell the difference of quality. I have loved Stevie since Rumors came out and I first heard her haunting voice. She has been through do much in her life. The break-up with Lindsey, the loss of her lover Tom Petty, and now losing her best friend, confidant, and "big sister" Christine. When she put her head down at the end it was obvious that she was crying too much to finish the song. I had to cry too both for her loss and the loss of Christine for all of us. I think the picture at 3:09 tells how she felt about her best friend. RIP Christine .

Never have I been so devastated with a celebrity's passing. Watching this video, I teared up... right here in the public library. Poor Stevie. The pain in her face is so apparent.... until the ending of the song, where her devastation was clearly revealed. Christine was so special to SO MANY people. I certainly hope she is looking down at all of us still mourning her passing. I can't celebrate her life yet. It was too short. I can only mourn along with all the others. RIP, dear Christine... Songbird to the world.
I feel the same way. I have been absolutely devastated since Christine died. It has only been a little shy of 4 months since we lost our Songbird.
It's still so fresh and so difficult to comprehend that she's no longer her on earth with us. She was my favorite member of my favorite band and one of my all-time favorite artists of all time.
I absolutely adore and love Stevie, and her pain and devastation are almost too much to watch.
My heart breaks for her and Fleetwood Mac, and for the world. It's truly the end of an era. She truly changed and impacted the world of music forever.
