3:00 The catch in Cullen's orders to the mages, granting them sanction to attack, always gets me. You can hear the hesitation, trauma, and fear in his voice as he gives the order, knowing full well what mages can do to a man's mind, body, and soul. Which makes it all the more powerful, given that he is working beyond his rather well formed biases and misgivings because he knows what needs to be done. Cullen is an honorable and valiant man, in light of all of this.
To think that the first of the Inquisition to make first contact with the enemy in this battle weren’t soldiers but civilians who took up arms only to get cut down mercilessly…
He needs the Anchor that the Herald picked up by accident. If he can't get it then he can't open the Fade and try to destroy everything. Basically, because he's a jerk and the Herald took one of his toys away.
"Beg that I succeed, for I have seen the throne of the gods, and it was empty". God damned that single quote is awesome.

"I can't come in unless you open." I have just realized that Cole doesn't speak to the inquisitor here. He speaks to the gate itself 😇

Why does Cassandra's voice in the beginning sound like she's inside a building?
Haven is situated between mountains so voices echo is my guess
Why does he hate Harold? What'd Harold do?
He sees him as a heratic
