Don't deny yourself to t2 tower unless you want to get reported btw. deny to neutrals (ancient camp is roughly the same distance and you might be able to stack it or the hard camp first) you lose a few seconds (8 second longer respawn at lvl 3) but gain a lot more in the long run if you stack and not getting lower behaviour score from reports is also nice.
a good tip is also to write "omg sorry" (u dont need to mean it lul) everytime anything semi bad happens ppl somehow think its sup's fault most of the time and that just solidifies their thinking but dont use the same phrasing too often or they think u r mocking them #chatmindgames
As someone who is so into net worth and farm I don't get why you think it's a good idea to deny yourself to a tower. It gave 126 gold to EACH enemy hero when you did that. How is it not more beneficial to just walk back to your base and lose out on a little xp (all the while giving your offlaner solo xp)?
I wonder what you’re meant to do as the Oracle in that game and been zoned out. Can’t pull or stack side camps, and stuck in a kill lane. How do you bring yourself back into the game? It seems bad to leave your safe lane carry to go elsewhere.

even denying ur tier 3 is alright if u are sure it will be destroyed by another creep wave... players create a static trends, not creative one, that's why they always deciding meta based on popularity on pro play only.
1. Use mana and skills to secure creeps and harass 2. If you can't harass as creeps are under enemy tower, side pull. Dont side pull if creeps are near your tower/middle 3. If running out of resources, deny yourself to tier 2 tower 4. Even lane? make sure enemy can't pull 5. If theres an unplayable lane, drag the wave
If you're a boring pos 4 playing pod 5 in offlane not going for kills then it's just another pos 5 game. Pos 2 and 4 my favorite roles i just like fighting and killing in general.
Pos 4 is fun also deals good impact as u place a good ulti in the game My best pos 4 plays are when enemies focus me before the carry player as a rubick or hero that gas a 5 men ulti Also as a mid player also fun position to play
Lower Bracket Issue toward Supp Players(SEA). . As a support player myself, I got to say support players are highly under-appreciated in SEA server. The carries all wanted to get the "highlight" but the reality is support is the one that gave high game impact by rotating, roaming, warding, sentrying, harassing, sacrifice their resource and die for their carries, help to gank, stacking, pulling and disabling. What SEA server sees ? THE FUCKING KDA like "bruh, I put my time and gold for the team and you blaming me for not having good KDA". Guess who they praise the most ? the carries that got babysit-ed. . Don't mention about map awareness, hero selection, items built, laning, and communication skill. It's horse shit. Only fewer carries that are decent available in SEA that understands their supp and how to work things out together rather than making supp life so miserable in the early and mid-game. . Whoah is one long comment and expression. Sorry, about that. I just feel like I needed to mention those for the lower bracket.
if u are a pos 4 or pos 5 dont waste ur tp if you can walk or just let the neutral kills you. use it to help ur cores and i think magic stick is the most important item in early laning phase
What's the benefit of denying to the T2 vs denying to creeps assuming you're somewhat low and it won't take way longer for the creeps to kill you? Isn't it better to give the enemy no gold or XP rather than the split gold from killing you?
It is stupid to "deny" yourself to the T2 tower, since the whole enemy team still benefits from that. If you saw a reason to deny yourself then you should do so by dying to neutral creeps.

Every single crit or chance based ability in dota is pseudo random meaning you can count and kind of control them. Sb bash was the only true random(it is why you felt like he could get million fucking bashes in a row) thing in dota but it was changed

If the the enemy creeps are under enemies' tower, you are hardly controlling the wave in offlane. You and your offlane cannot safely secure last hit, more so if the enemy team pick is stronger than yours. "But the next wave would push your creeps back because they were under their tower, right?" No, because their support would just pull their creeps and also denying your exp. Dragging their creeps doesn't deny your exp because all of the creeps you dragged would be intact after getting back to the lane, and that double wave of enemies' creeps would push your lane comfortably.

Taking the cs cause it'll be useless if the enemy deny it (better for you to take the gold and get the exp). The main reason you're securing the cs is because your carry can't take it. That's why he used the word "secure".

It's really nice to have a burst avaible though. Most of the time 1 more second of stun won't let your team finish off a kill, unlike 100 more burst damage + a right click on top of a shorter stun.

No, you should make sure that no cs is missed by your lane. For example, if you're a Shaman Centaur lane, Centaur won't reach the ranged creep if he aggros to deny your ranged, so you secure it yourself.

That's a reason pulling is so important, you get money and xp for yourself, deny the enemy money and xp, and are letting your carry get solo xp. Learning to take a moment to farm while warding or waiting to push a tower will double your impact, and is why I love supports that can farm easy neutrals early.
@@A_Sack_Of_Rice nah the gold is split which isnt said in the feed so the 140 gold or whatever is divided amongst them all(5) so its only a creep worth of gold for your death. This way means you get a faster respawn then denying yourself at jungle creeps which lets you miss less lane xp

the way I understand it, you're giving 150g / 5 players = 30g each, which is less than a lane melee creep is worth! Just make sure you're out of xp range so you aren't giving the enemy hero XP when you die

how can you say there's no chance in dota? something as basic as rightclick or 'a' click damage has an rng element doesnt it? not to mention the loads of chaos and chance going into which heroes are picked and where they go.
There are times when i'm pos 4 yet the cores really suck. That My Supp Can Kill more enemy heroes than the cores..
you have to try East Server in Herald Tier you will exhausted before did the right thing

If I deny myself in the tier 2, I might catch a lot of heat from my teammates for giving the opponents free gold. I know this is kind of a noob thing to ask, but is replenishing manna worth the cost of giving the opponents free gold?
the way I understand it, you're giving 150g / 5 players = 30g each, which is less than a lane melee creep is worth! Just make sure you're out of xp range so you aren't giving the enemy hero XP when you die

Denying yourself is situational, I wouldn't say it's part of a checklist.
It's extremely situational, all you do is just feed the whole team gold.
The time you take to 'deny' yourself you could just go to fountain
Or you could just go to neutral creep

Walking back to fountain is double the time as walk to T2. Die to T2 is only 20g each it’s less than a creep. No one cares.
