Cuffs heels & toes,,, hi Cindy, Sheila here, I’ve just come across your videos, and I like you and the way you explain things. This toe - up business is brilliant and would like your pattern if I may. Just starting out myself and not a fan of the Kitchener stitch,, yet! Working on that. Thank you for your videos
Cuffs, heels and toes! You make it so easy, but you've had a lot practice. I've not bought my CSM yet, but I'm going to. Thank you for the demonstration!
Deborah thank you so much for your kind words. I try to fill in all the lil gaps we forget as we become more seasoned. Soon it will all be muscle memory. Dont give up. Plz reach out to me on our Facebook page should you need some one on one. No charge. Just want to ensure the legacy of CSMs doesn't get lost!
Cuffs heels and toes. Thanks for the video . But I didn't get it . This is quite different than the toe up I have seen . I guess will have to watch again. Is you r machine a speedster?
At 3:58 you went from left to right and then the video edits shows you going from right to left and does not show any lifts or downs of needles. Did you do anything before going back from right to left at 4:00 please let me know. Thank you. Great tutorial. (-:
@@cindyschrimpf6375 Thank you so much for your reply! I am still working on making this happen. It is very hard. I've been at it for hours. I can knit normal and have the tension I want, but as soon as I add the heel tension, it gets too tight and eventually around 3rd row, every need is too tight and have start over again. I just decided to practice without the heel tension.
Are use to making a cuff down sock? What size cylinder are you using? Best advise, regardless is always pull the fabric right up to the needle not the stitches. Then gently lift the fabric to get the stitch over the needle. Each time we elongate a single stitch to go over a needle, other stitches get shorter and have less stretch.

wonderful video, Cindy, thank you! Cuffs, Heels and Toes......How do you finish the cuff part of your sock, when you do the toe up sock?
Cuffs heels and toes. FYI I watched part 2 and 3 before I came back to 1. I'm a new came owner so I appreciate your detailed instructions.

I should have lifted needles. I don't do the editing...sorry for the confusion.
The rule of thumb is what you do on one side you do on the other side.
