    Hi, Sheila here, and very new to this. There are many, many tutorials on this and your have got to be the best at explaining how to do this. I will look for more from you for sure. Thank you SO much and I am going to do this right now…😊

      I am so glad you found it helpful. Check out my website too. It is small right now, but slowly growing as I can find time to add more info. www.sockmachinecentral.com

    She is a great instructor with easy to follow instructions. Perfect narrative without any unuseful talking.

    You really did a great job with this video! Thank you for taking the time to show and explain what and why you take the steps you do to create the toe.

    Thank you so much for your videos. They are clear and to the point. I’m going to try your heel and toe hints as well as your Kitchener technique. I would love to see a ribber video ☺️

    Beautifully clear video, thank you. This is the way I do my toes and find it simple to do. I will be recommending your video.

    Super clear video! This makes so much more sense to me than a wrapped heel as a newbie so will try this next :)

    Your videos are so instructive -- clear, concise, easy to follow, packed with important details/tips. I really appreciate how you anticipate potential problems and show solutions and good practice. It only took me a few tries to crank a respectable heel -- yay! Your video on tension got me well on my way. Am hoping you'll do one on using the ribber. Please!

    Very clear! Thanks a lot! I am amazed at how little you have to move the weights.

      Kitty Kilian, it wasn’t always that easy for me 😉. Practice and many socks helps find the sweet spot for the heel weights.

      Knitpickin So there’s hope for me yet ;-)

      Kitty Kilian, Absolutely! It’s like riding a bicycle. We all forget how difficult it was to learn when we were younger, but with lots of practice...it will just click one day! Then you will wonder why you had so much trouble in the beginning 😉

      Knitpickin Have you used a ribber yet?

    • @knitpickin
      @knitpickin  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kitty Kilian, yes I have. I plan on making ribber videos in the near future. But, I am busy making fabric masks these days 😎

    This was great and helpful. Thank you. I was wondering how much does your heel fork weights weight?

    • @knitpickin
      @knitpickin  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I crank at a tight gauge and prefer 1-pound weights on each heel fork, for a total of 3 pounds.

    Your videos are really helpful. I've been cranking for 2 years but have found some great tips from you!! I was curious, is your machine an NZAK? :)

    • @knitpickin
      @knitpickin  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Karrie Lyne, yes it is a NZAK Quicknit and I am very happy with it.

    Fantastic! Thank you so much for such clear instructions. I am brand new to CSM. Is there weight on your heel forks? Thank you for your time.

    • @knitpickin
      @knitpickin  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you. Yes, I use 1 lb lead fishing weights on each fork. Mine are cylinder shaped, but anything similar will do.
