Congratulations on your new adventure, best of luck! Great seeing younger generation getting into the dairy industry. A farmers work is never done, no farm,no food. No body realizes how much work there is running a dairy.

Hey there new Farmers at least at this new location for me to watch and I wish you all the best on your new adventure as I watch several farm videos. Seems farmers have many different ways to operate their systems in the barns and yours is a complete new one for me.
How many cows do you plan to run? I grew up on a small dairy farm in Ohio before all the modern equipment. I am glad I found your farm, I will be watching your accomplishments and enjoying it all.
Congratulations on the new farm.. Do you have any videos of the remedial / renovation work from the past month that was mentioned in this video... that is something I'd like to see...
No i didnt record any sadly. Mainly putting stalls back and welding holding brackets was the biggest thing. Feed bunk rails and adding headlocks. I did get the clip of of fixing the water leak. That took us a week to fully figure out. The last couple projects are getting recorded before cows come in though.
I really enjoy cattle videos, you guys will make for entertaining viewing...lol already flagged you as a favorite, so 10th generation dairyman has some competition...lol

Are you buying more cows or will you have enough to fill it with your heifers?
We will have 200 at this farm
What town are your farms in?
Berkshire
Provide housing and a devent wage i would be willing to move north to milk lol.. i have milked in a double 11 paralel. But putting that kind of work and money into it i would have had a few robot milkers put in

🤦🏻♂️
How many cows you gonna be able to milk
200
If I was you I’d have robots on one farm and then milk in parlour on the other farm would be much easier to manage overall
We have a system that is working great. Robots are way to expensive to justify at the moment for us.
How many cows are you going to milk st this dairy
200
with a bunch of farms going out in vermont suprised to see you guys going to bat wonder why they are quiting? vermont to me is farms how many you going to milk?
They haven’t milked in 3 years here. The old owner had to stop due to health reasons. Now they are moving states. That’s reasons for selling.
How many cows can you milk in this new setup
