So as far as Diss Songs go, I actually agree with Shawn here like 95%. The only one I'm switching is Like That. IMO the most over hyped track in this whole thing. Like for one other than like 4 lines that were direct shots at Drake, There was hardly any disses on here tbh, And two, IMO Future verse was dead AF, Bro sounded half asleep on that cut and I know that's just Future or whatever but I personally don't think him and Kendricks performance mesh that well together on the track. Beat def grew on me tho, At first I wasn't crazy bout it but I really dig it now. Like That would go in B-Tier for me next to 6:16. Everything else Shawn said was dead on for me, Especially bout Family Matters, It's def one of the better tracks to come out of this and I'm tired of seeing people act like it's not lol
I feel like this tier list explains perfectly the impact of Kendrick and Drake. Drake can make some polarizing music, excellent at times. But Kendrick is in a whole other stratosphere.
6:16 isn’t a pressure track for Drake imo, it’s a pressure track for Kendrick by Kendrick. What he says comes off as him convincing/preparing himself to drop MtG. “Who’s gonna stop me, I come from love” and “I know this type of power is gonna cost but I live in circadian rhythms of a shooting star” come to mind.
Regardless of whether you think Kendrick won, not putting Family Matters at the S tier is insane. That song has vast amounts of replay value. The beat switches, and Drakes's flow on them are honestly something we haven't seen from him in a very long time as an artist.
meet the grahams is scathing and, sinister is such a good description of it. But i think for that reason, its not s-tier, It's too sinister. The most hard hitting diss track of them all, and just as a diss track, it would be s-tier, but if we're looking at it as a song as a whole, I think A-tier is where it would belong.
6:16 in LA? I hate that it’s not on DSP, it’s my fav track of them all. Soulful beat, he warms the car up w a good verse and you get the first real “oh shit” moment. The cryptic title, the what we now know as the breathing machine sound at the beginning. He simultaneously jacks Drakes “time stamp” title and “back to back” drops.
Meet the grahams is so good because of the strategy of it. Kendrick destroyed any momentum Drake might have had and gave us a huge moment. I’ve gone back to watch so many reaction videos to that song the play was just insane
In my opinion, I think ‘Not Like Us’. Kendrick just wanted to show that he could make a hit while simultaneously tearing your whole character down and did exactly that. Now people C-Walkin to Pedo Allegations 🔥😭

Mr Shawn hope you are doing well. You accidentally forgot to rank one diss track and that was 6:16 in la. But no worries. That is all take care.
This really puts into perspective how in over his head drake is as a rapper. Dude thought he and some ghostwriters could beat a sociopath.
Wym family matters is arguably the best song of the entire beef
@@Ball_Chat_FC music is subjective so I’m not gonna say that’s false, but most people would agree that it’s not even top 3.
@@himmothy111no it’s just y’all Kenny fan girls that think that. Even on this comments section there’s more appreciation for Family Matters than what you’re implying stop the cap
@@himmothy111who tf is most people
@@himmothy111”most people” aka diehard Kendrick fans
As a complete diss, family matters is the best and it’s not close. He literally destroyed 10 different people and had a bunch of disrespectful and clever bars
I love how everyone in the comments is giving appreciation to 6:16
1. Like That
2. Euphoria
3. Family matter
4. Not like us
5. Meet the Grahams
6. Push-ups
7. The Heart pt 6.
8. 6 16 in LA
9. 7 min drill
10. Champagne moments
Rick Ross ig stories at Drake were A tier tho
"BBL Drizzy I'm at the pool party and they just called you a pedo" 😭😭😭 2024 at its best
It’s like Kdot had pray in the morning of Fri with 6:16, put his kids to bed at night and went out to go to war and face off Drake with Meet the Graham’s at Family Matter. Sat morning,,went back to the crime scene and dance on my dude grave with Not Like Us. Sheesh!! Within 7 days Drake had a tombstone. Euphoria predicted it all. OMGG the levels 🤯🔥🔥
I keep changing my mind about which song I like the most. Euphoria is the one for me right now. I'll go Euphoria > Not like Us > Meet the Grahams
so agree with all your takes since ever! including this list for the most part, tho I listen to 6:16 a lot
I dont get what yall see in Like That. That shit is so overrated.. Not Like Us, Euphoria, Push Ups, and Family Matters all went harder
I do enjoy that this beef turned into fun for everyone except Drake. I like that Drake isn't pouting. Respect for his silence, lol.
Euphoria is easily the best track out of all of this for me
kinda made me realize it, it is true, not like us tackles very very dark things to be sang about it in a funny trolly tone
The message on Meet the Grahams was for Drake . The same message was made palpable for the audience on Not Like Us
meet the grahams was 100% for the audience
The most hard hitting diss track of them all, and just as a diss track, it would be s-tier, but if we're looking at it as a song as a whole, I think A-tier is where it would belong.
the only s-tier song ist Family Matters.
the other tracks are only driss tracks.
Family Matters is the only Tracks sounds like good music
☠️☠️☠️
I havent heard 6:16 in LA as much, i barely heard it once im surprised people love it so much
Taylor Made is D just because he disrespected Pac alone
That and he really thought the West Coast would love him. The Estate is suing him and everyone involved in recreating Pac's likeliness
Can’t be mad at this ranking. Very objective and I agree besides 6:16 is criminally underrated, but I’d only move up to A.
Euphoria is the MVP for me
If I’m honest the only songs I’m listening to after the beef is euphoria and family matters everything else is mid to me
Where’s that family matters reaction crodie
I’ve gone back to watch so many reaction videos to that song the play was just insane
the chat completely missing what shawn said about not like us is the funniest thing 💀
in my head is still sounding BBL DRIZZY BROOOO
i think family matters is s tier.
BBL Drizzy being anywhere below S tier is criminal. just for the comedic value of it it's insane.
Euphoria was the best track out of the whole beef. Extremely unique and well made, gets better and better with each listen.
6:16 not coming to streaming means this chapter isn’t over yet
Shawn was having a mini roller coaster of thoughts talking about 7 minute drill
Thanks for tha tier video
6 16 is my favourite by alot its beautiful rhymes imagery and production
In my opinion, I think ‘Not Like Us’. Kendrick just wanted to show that he could make a hit while simultaneously tearing your whole character down and did exactly that. Now people C-Walkin to Pedo Allegations 🔥😭
Had to go back to look at euphoria. It's clearly the best song out of all of the tracks. He responded to the DV allegations even before family matters came out and just flayed him in so many different ways. They not like us Is still the song of the summer.
SHAWN YOU FORGOT 6:16 IN LA
Edit: nvm he ranked it lol
Apparently ScHoolboy Q told Cole to back down from the beef because it was gonna escalate to how it did instead of just being a rap battle. I feel like Cole can get some slack cut for that.
nah that 6:16 in LA is beyond slept on ngl .. aging like wine🍷
