  • Join me as I take you along the shores of Prampram, just east of Accra, where the beauty of the beach clashes with the harsh reality of sea pollution. This video isn't just about showcasing the problem; it's about finding solutions and engaging in meaningful dialogue.
The issue at hand? A considerable amount of plastic waste from Accra finds its way to our beaches, driven by the tides. Despite regular cleanup efforts, the problem persists daily, highlighting the need for sustainable solutions.
In today’s walk, I discovered an inspiring sight: someone collecting and presumably recycling plastic bottles. It sparked an idea-what if we could establish an onsite recycling operation right here in Prampram? Imagine plastics being collected, shredded, and then transported to be reused by manufacturing companies. My experience at the Agbogbloshie Scrap Market has shown me that local fabrication of plastic shredding machines is entirely feasible.
Watch, reflect, and engage with us. Share your thoughts and solutions for combating beach pollution. Have you seen effective methods in your community or elsewhere? Let's gather our ideas and make a real impact.
Remember, each small step contributes to a cleaner, healthier ocean. Let’s turn the tide on pollution and restore the beauty of our beaches.

The community needs to be educated, waste management to be set in place by the leaders of the area.

Ghanaians don’t appreciate what they have. That beach is beautiful minus the waste.

From my angle, African Americans whose career has been waste management could be industry leaders in Ghana's clean up of the seaside.

Please, do share whatever you find it's needed here in Cape Coast as well!
Where is the place you worked that upcycled? Do tell?

Hi@@DreLBrown529, I’m still very much committed to Migrating Culture Ltd. Co. However, I am currently navigating some partnership challenges and am seeking legal redress through the court. My email address is Inhabit.ability@gmail.com

@@EcotalkwithBrandon Sorry to hear that brother. I didn’t know that this was going on. I just noticed that I hadn’t seen you on his channel lately. You guys were tag team partners on the “Migrating Culture Crossing” project and you were noticeably missing in action. I hope things work out for the best for You and Eric.
